I ordered 2 photo books which I painstakingly created and paid a pretty penny for. Both books came with warped pages, meaning each actual page was curved in and out.
I reported this to Adorama customer service, however they said the only way they can help me is by returning the book. I advised that I had ordered this to be sent as a gift for a specific occasion and couldn't afford the time it took but I'm asking for at least a partial refund since both books were damaged.
They would not allow this and said that if I gifted the books obviously they are "usable." Which makes no sense. Where does usable come in here? It is not the product that I ordered. It is a damaged version.
I have advised as such, and I am very upset and disappointed. I expected more from a reputable company.
They have good products but if something ever goes wrong- just forget about all the time and money you spent :(
HI Chaya - I apologize for this inconvenience. There actually is a fix to this. We build our books in a humidity controlled environment - moisture in the air can warp the pages. The pages are made of real photographic paper - it's organic and "breathes" in its environment. Simply place some sort of soft cloth on top of the photo books or albums and place a heavier object on top for 2-3 days in a cooler, dry area. This will typically take care of the warping issue. Why don't you email me directly at libby@adoramapix.com and I can help you. This is actually pretty common, mostly though during the summer. - Libby
