If you do not have a severe wound, gun shot, knife, metal object protruding from any part of your body, if you are not visibly showing any signs of blood coming out of any part of your body, please stay away from Cooper Hospital. In the past 10 years Cooper Hospital university has gone down the drain service sucks. Patient care sucks. Quality of care sucks no one cares. They suck. Nurses look depleted. There aren't enough doctors. They leave you for hours on end without checking on you. You have to have someone there to speak up for you to find your nurse and find your doctor and harass the staff. My grandmother is a type one diabetic she came in the emergency room because she was vomiting and lightheaded and wasn't sure why it took them over three hours to bring her into the emergency hallway bed. The next two hours they began to draw blood and they were able to get her into a CAT scan but then 6-7 hours to get her mri they didn't check her sugar levels till we demanded it we told them she needed to eat. They advised may be not eating or because of her upcoming mri but that didn't happen for 6-7 hours later! She finally ate something but still waited. That time! We told the staff mutiple times about her diabetes and no one gave her shots when she opens up her bag to give herself a shot they told her she couldn't do that but still didn't administer it for her through the hospital! This is the worst emergency experience I have ever had! Stay away from here! It is 2:39sm and we are just getting home we were admitted at 11:30am!
