So buy this stock and pay us $100 is what is in the "news letter". Who do you think buys the stock first? Every look up a stock on Yahoo and see a bunch of stories by these guys? Why are the stories either very negative or overly positive? Read the disclaimers, it depends on if they own the stock... not very fair if they are giving you what looks like a "news" article. I been burnt by taking their advice and would like everybody to understand who is making money here.
Thank you for your feedback.
Our employees are under strict regulations that prohibit us from buying or selling stocks for a set time frame before and after the recommendation has been made.
At The Motley Fool, when we recommend a stock in any subscription or strategy, we are doing so with the intention of holding that stock for 3-5 years, minimum. As long-term investors, we recognize that stock prices will fluctuate. That being said, we won’t always recommend a sell just because the stock price drops. We prefer to hold stocks in companies that we are confident in for the long term.
