I purchased an LED chandelier from them. I paid an electrician $105 to install, only to discover during the install the LED's in the light fixture were defective and would not work at all.
I called the next business day and customer service said they needed to contact WAC to ask what to do. I asked for a replacement and for NY Lighting to reimburse me for the install of the defective product.
Please note, before purchasing, I asked what happens if the LEDS fail during the warrantee. I also asked if I would be reimbursed for the electrician. I was told they don't reimburse for install except for exceptions like if it fails in the first 2 weeks. LIES, LIES, LIES, just to close a sale.
A full week later I received a return label, but the customer service agent still did not know about the replacement.
A week and a half later I was told they were shipping a replacement fixture, but I would not be reimbursed AT ALL for the installation of the defective product.
AVOID THIS COMPANY!
Thank you for taking the time to review us. We do apologize that we can not pay for electrician fees. We gladly replaced the item and if there were to be an issue with the replacement we would stand behind the product. We can look at the invoice that was provided and see if we can come to a resolution.
