I just have to rave about these guys. I'm building an earthbag dome outside of Durango, CO and ordered my supplies from them. Partway through construction, I ran into a run of about 150 defective bags. I couldn't afford to lose a week waiting to have replacements shipped. I called NM Dirtbags and Daniel arrived 8 hours later with new bags. 240 miles and he didn't even charge me a dime!

I get increasing upset with the lack of customer service and the lack of so many businesses to be willing to stand behind their product & service. Having dealing with NM Dirtbags restores my faith. They may cost a little more, but they obviously really care... and you just can't buy that. Kudos, guys!

I guess I'm lucky. Of three items purchased, I was e-mailed & told that two of the items were back-ordered. When my shipment arrived, it had two of the items (but not the third). The third item still hasn't arrived after 3 weeks... and, like with so many other people, neither e-mails or phone calls seem to work.

Great products, I must say, and great prices. That's the only thing that prevents me from giving them a 1-star rating. Terrible customer support (and it seems their warehouse people either are either too dumb or don't care to do their jobs properly).

Just makes me more resolved to shop locally. May cost more, but why contribute to perpetuating this downward spiral (you all know what I'm talking about!) where everything - product quality, customer service, integrity - is just going to hell in a handbasket? Not to mention that spending locally creates & supports local jobs! (OK... I'm done.)
