I had a similar experience as Dawn B in August. I placed an order for Wake Forest Tailgate Tent, checked the box for need it less than 7 days and paid $24.95 for expedited shipping. The order form said that if they were not going to get it to you by the date you requested they would contact you.
My credit card was charged the day of the order. Today is the day that I had requested to have the merchandise by for the homecoming game tomorrow.
I received an order confirmation email very quickly and then nothing else. I started calling the number on the website and no one ever answers. You get a recording asking you to leave a message. I tried online chat (which said online) and no one answered that either.
Finally got Customer Service Artie to respond to chat. He said that he had to contact the manufacturer. He came back a few minutes later and said "It has been back ordered and some reason or another I was not told". That is a quote right off of my chat transcript!
I asked for my order to be cancelled and a credit for the full amount to be issued to my card today. We will see if that happens!
The website says under new ownership, I guess because of all the 2010 & 2011 bad reviews. Trust me, it has not changed. I guess it is possible that they have good intentions, but they are in way over their heads. Just not capable of running this business as it should be run.
Please pay a little extra and order your stuff from a reputable company!
