My first HealthyWage challenge was great I worked hard, won, and received a check for $2251 minus $7 for mailing fee. Felt good and joined a new challenge on Jan 8th for a repeat performance. I was happy that they followed through on their commitment.
YOU MUST READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE YOU COMMIT! I CANNOT STRESS THE IMPORTANCE OF THIS. "We have a strict no refunds policy, and a strict rule that we do not cancel installment debt. If you choose an installment plan, you are taking out a loan from our finance department. The installment plan is just like a loan from any other creditor, and the loan must be repaid regardless of circumstances. One important part of the service we provide is a negative reinforcement that helps you avoid procrastinating and quitting your weight loss plan, which would be undermined if you could simply change your mind after registering. Moreover, our pricing is based on actuarial models that assume no refunds and no installment debt cancellations. Our business model depends on our firmness around this policy. Our customer service agents and supervisors are not authorized to make exceptions. The only exception is that the HealthyWage accounting department may suspend your challenge (but not your installment payments) and extend all of your challenge deadlines if you find out after you register for a challenge that you are pregnant, or if you require extended hospitalization (at least 10 days) for a medical condition, but only if the severity of the medical condition was not known to you until after you registered for the challenge. I was subjected to a threatening email on the FIRST AND ONLY time they contacted me about my card expiring. I did not even have the opportunity to upload a new expiration date for my challenge when they canceled my challenge and told me that all future payment were due even though the challenge was cancelled. This all happened within 12 HOURS of getting the email. NOTE: I DIDN'T EVEN HAVE THE CHANCE TO UPLOAD MY UPDATED CARD INFORMATION AND MY CHALLENGE HAD ALREADY BEEN CANCELLED. Here is a copy of the email.

Final Notice: This was our last attempt to process your payment. Be sure to update your information in the next 24 hours to avoid bad debt.

To fix this right away, please log in to your dashboard on the HealthyWage website, click the three vertical dots on the top right, select 'Payment' from the drop down menu, and enter your updated payment information. Or use the HealthyWage App by clicking 'Menu' at the top left, then 'Settings', then 'Payments' from the dropdown menu. You will then see an area to update your payment information.

You are responsible for paying your complete registration fee one way or another. If you do not complete payment in the next 24 hours it will become bad debt.

Important: Your challenge has now been closed. If you would like to reopen your challenge you will need to contact us at *******@healthywage.com.

This was the ONLY NOTICE I RECEIVED.

Please make sure you understand their terms before signing up. Like I said, the program works, and... sometimes, for me, due to unnecessary threats and the HealthyWage Team giving foreboding warnings over bad debt... it doesn't.

When a payment is unsuccessful, there are typically several emails sent over the span of a several days to provide notice and ample time to get the account updated. Upon investigation, we see you were not sent all of these emails. This was a technical glitch on our part and we apologize.
