I stumbled upon this site when I was 13 or 14 and I honestly miss it so much! I didn't expect it to be as cool as it was. I liked how you could not only post your own quotes, but you could also design them using html coding. This website actually taught me basic html (even though I've forgotten it now). After a short time on there, I discovered profile layouts. There use to be some really talented users on there (not sure if anyone still make layouts for the site) who would make layouts and share them for others to use. Captivated & paper lungs were 2 of my favs. I learned how to make my own layouts from other users and I used the site for a while, the last time I logged on to my account was 4 years ago and it was a bit different. The coding changed a bit so it was a little more challenging to make layouts. People started to outgrow the site & eventually they left for good. I ended up leaving and came back after a few months just to check it out and it was crazy how many really talented people had left. I don't use the site anymore but I kind of actually want to go back to it, just to remenis.

I joined Twitter with my first account back in 2010 and at first, I didn't really get it. I actually left my first ever original account (I later gave it to someone else because a celebrity followed it & they were a huge fan) but later came back with a new one. I met all kinds of people from all around the world and we became internet friends. Eventually, I outgrew that account and made a 2nd account in 2013 and I've been on that one ever since. Twitter is great, I'm honestly glad I joined. It's way better than Facebook, imo, though they both have pros and cons. The only thing I wish was a thing they Twitter gave the users / allowed us to do is make our own layouts. It would be cool to personalize our profiles more. Other than that, I'm happy with the site.

I remember using Sodahead when I was about 13 or 14 (2010 or 2011-ish). It was so fun! I actually made a hand full of friends on there. I stopped using it I wanna say in 2012 or so, after changing my username from the original one (Greenday4Ever(AMarie) or something like that) and went to get on it one day a year or two ago and it was gone! I know it's just a site, but that was a piece of my teenage-hood. I loved making different polls, taking different polls, meeting people with common interests, decorating my profile, etc. It's sad that they did away with it :( I wish they would have at least made some sort of side website, like a forum or something, where users could go & chat with their old friends. It sucks.
