My intent was to book directly with the hotel chain. Somehow I got redirected to getaroom.com. I realized I did had a non-refundable room but then a pandemic happened. The state was CLOSED to travel into. The events in the region were cancelled. After multiple check ins with the company, they finally did refund the money. I realize with COVID there was a lot going on and I am grateful that they have now decided to refund my money.
