I ordered from Mpix because PC Magazine left a decent review. I won't make that mistake again. I ordered Christmas cards from Mpix and upgraded to expedited shipping. They got to me fast, but the photos on the card are blurry, so no quality control was done before shipping my order. The site claims that 100% satisfaction is guaranteed and that they make sure everything is checked and good to go. That is a lie, because the blurry photos are very noticeable, as is the white line running down the right side and bottom of each card.
When I emailed about a refund, the woman helping me said they would only offer a half refund if I returned the cards, because it was my fault. So their solution is to blame the customer, even though they are the ones responsible for checking the product during creation and shipment. I was told that the size of the file just barely met the minimum requirements for a 5x7 card. So, that means it still met the requirement, so I don't understand how this is not a printing issue on their end. I paid over $116 for cards I cannot use and if I return them, I will not receive a refund for my expedited shipping and I'm sure they'll want me to pay for return shipping. So, in the end, I would probably be refunded $20 for their error.
Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. I usually use Prints of Love and should have just gone with them again this time, instead of looking for a deal.
