I placed an order and then after realizing how long shipping would take, I decided to cancel it just a few hours later. There was no option to cancel, so I called as soon as Gilt's hotline opened the next morning. I was told it was too late to cancel, even though it's July 10 and it won't ship for about 2 weeks! I called back and then was told it was cancelled, no problem, and I would get an email and refund. When I didn't see an email, I called back and was told I should hear about a cancellation soon but it wasn't guaranteed. I then spoke with a supervisor who said it was too late to cancel this order. I do not understand as the order was placed overnight, just hours before, and it wasn't going to ship out for a while. It's still in the warehouse. The cheaper prices aren't worth the customer service. Avoid Gilt at all costs! It is a scam. The customer service is atrocious. They should feel GUILTY for taking people's money and being awful.
