I have been a member of the Interaction Design Foundation for a while but only just completed my first course - Human-computer Interaction: Foundation of UX Design.
Overall, it was a great experience. The course content was up to date, and I especially liked how motion design was used in conjunction with video to make the content more relatable and engaging.
I was fascinated by the history of computing and the evolution of tech in general and how its impact on our daily lives grew over time.
I learned the importance of making informed decisions about how users interact with products and systems. The course also covered the fundamental principles of screen design, emphasizing the importance of accessibility and cultural differences as key considerations. As case studies, we explored real-world products, delving into their user experience and evaluating the thought process behind the design decisions.
Hi Mustapha,
Thank you for sharing such great feedback.
We are glad to hear that you enjoyed your first course with us and enjoyed the experience. We work so hard to create courses that are not just text-based; we mix examples, videos and screenshots to keep our learners engaged and accommodate different learning preferences:-)
We are confident that you can now consider the fundamental principles of screen design, accessibility and cultural differences- all learned in HCI, as key factors in your daily design projects.
We hope you will continue to explore our other courses and master classes and, most of all, use the knowledge acquired to make a dent in the universe.
Very best,
Rikke Friis Dam of the Interaction Design Foundation
