I purchased 5 tickets from NWK to DUBAI in early March. Due to COVID-19 issue, I requested refund of the tickets around end of May. Airline refunded the tickets but travel agency did not refund the whole amount and kept $166.59.
Initially they told that agency did not keep it, it is the credit card company who kept. I never heard about this before but none the less, i called credit card company and they said they did not keep it.
After 2/3 calls to ilink tours, they admitted keeping $166.59 but said that they are keeping $25.00 per person as service charges which they never conveyed when I did the booking.
On top of that, they have not refunded me the remaining amount of $40+ yet.
