Hello, I want to share a very disappointing experience with Zoom that feels like a complete scam. I already had a US Zoom phone number and decided to buy two additional numbers for Europe. Zoom's system let me make the purchase with no warning or notice that I would later need to provide physical proof of business presence in Europe to activate those numbers. After paying for a full year, I discovered I couldn't even use the numbers I bought. They were never activated, and now I'm being told I need documents that I simply don't have because my company is based in Hong Kong. This is deceptive and unprofessional — selling services that cannot be used and not informing users of essential conditions upfront. Be very careful before buying anything from Zoom Phone. Honestly Zoom is way too overated, it takes up alot of space for one, has a heavy bandwidth which prevents multitasking, the captions are small and the sizing cannot even be changed, somtimes it will unmute you or turn on your video auotomatically, it is constantly updating therfore taking up more space over time, it tends to glitch alot and require a large amount of wifi to perform properly Zoom is a great idea but is way too tedious and time consuming for it to work efficiently

1st time in 3 + yrs I NEEDED their help!
3 weeks f-ing asking & speaking to Billing (to get a HUMAN) 4 agents and ALL of the played games with me! I was in TEARS... They read from scripts to "validate customer concerns" ALL of them just kept creating ticket after ticket. Refused to get me a Supervisor or do ANYthing I asked.
I warned in writing through email & verbally several time to NOT to charge my car. My renewal came up yesterday, and I was NOT contining until I got help.

ALL said:"I undersand." GOOD THEN - you better keep your word.
I TERMINATED MY ACCOUNT - and this morning saw that they renewed it.
#Zoom is garbage. Make a claim of credit card fraud if this ever happens to you. I've done just that!

Today, I tried to get into an important lecture but ZOOM decided to do an UPDATE and blocked me from the first 45 minutes of the lecture. I am outraged that ZOOM cares nothing about me as a customer! This has happened about 20 times in the past year, where I am trying to get into a very important ZOOM meeting and just as I try to get onboard, the ZOOM screen cuts in and does an UPDATE and tells me that I cannot stop the update. I end up missing most of my meeting! I literally cannot believe the positive reviews for this service! ZOOM has been a horrific experience for me. What kind of company deliberately disrupts the very meetings that it is supposed to facilitate -- ZOOM shows a ruthless and callous disregard for me as a user. All they care about is updating my service and ASKING FOR MONEY! I really despise ZOOM and I only use it because the lectures and meetings I attend are arranged by the instructors to be on ZOOM. I do NOT RECOMMEND ZOOM to any company or individual.

Zoom intersects our lives whether we want it to or not, so when it malfunctions and you do not pay for a Zoom account, you are screwed. My computer microphone is perfectly fine but it does not work in Zoom so any meetings or classes that are on Zoom, that I attend on my computer are defective experiences and they give no support. For people on the Zoom community who lost their mic during a job interview, as some have noted, this is truly a horrible bind. You can't reach them but they are in your face, in your life.

I accidentally deleted my friend because I was messing around with participants and it won't let me message him now. IDK what happened. I need help. Zoom was great before this, though.

What I like most about using Zoom is its high-quality audio and video. Even with poor internet connectivity, Zoom can adjust the quality to ensure that you get the best possible experience. I did not realize that purchases auto subscribed users. I learned this ONLY 3 DAYS after the unauthorized "subscription" period started.
Because of the error message on my zoom account "Your payment card on file has expired. Please update your payment method or you will lose access to your paid features in the future" - I assumed that not providing my updated card would therefore cancel my unbeknownst/unauthorized "subscription".
I then learned that Zoom uses a 3rd party to update account users credit card information which is unauthorized and I believe to be a breach of privacy and information.
It seems that all zoom cares about is getting as much money as possible and not the customers needs or happiness.
I created a ticket with zoom to get my account sorted (now on week 3) and Zoom billing department has made 4 attempts to charge my purchase card for a "subscription" I did know about or agree to for a plan that was underutilized and an amount I vehemently do not approve.

Has excellent stability, accessibility, powerful screen-sharing tools, pizarras, diapositives, compatibility with virtual cameras, and uses additional software to enhance the user experience.
Due to online groups, conferences, classes, and even family reunions, it is the most crucial and necessary tool of this era. The world has changed, and Zoom Meetings helped us adjust to these new cMBIO.

Zoom is the best option out there to use for video meetings or call. They let you use zoom for free for 45 minutes long. Picture and audio quality is always good if only you have stable internet connection.

Pretty useful for business and classes too, easy to use and very convenient to use in general. Most people prefer this platform as for using it as a mandatory way of teaching and communication for students and and other business virtual meetings.

I used it several times during the pandemic and I'm very likely to use it again. No hick-ups, everything worked just fine. It did take me a moment to figure out how to schedule a meeting as I had to explain it to someone else in detail. But to be honest, it's easy, just dive in and you will be ok.
