DO NOT order from here, I ordered my bridesmaid dresses it was $180 each and it was suppose to be champagne and came in yellow and looked like a Halloween costume. They are saying they wont refund it, and it takes forever for them to respond. Don't waste your time
Ordered a custom mask in late June. Said that it would be shipped in 10-21 days (taking into account the pandemic). I still have not received the mask and can't get a response from the seller. Will be avoiding this site like the plague moving forward!
Just opened my shop. So far I love the communication with Zibbet and how easy is was to transfer my listings from another market to this one. There is room for improvement, such as adding forums. I purchased a month so far but going to make it a year subscription. I hope to see Zibbet grow bigger.
I ordered my son a wallet. It never came. The seller promised to send another then continuously told me to keep waits (9 plus weeks). Then told me if I didn't want it that once I finally got it (still havent) that I could pay to ship it back to Hong Kong for a "refund"... I contacted the website and they told me they "don't get involved" what a joke!
It said instant download. I purchased 3 downloadable items from Zibbet but never received any download link to it or any order confirmation email. The amount was deducted from My PayPal. Later when checked for it, it started showing me this error.
PLEASE DON'T BUY from this site, you will find very similar items on Etsy.
Tried this and did an Etsy ship import - took over 2 days to import, lacks so many necessary features to be a true selling platform. They need to build the platform with all needed seller features and then try to market and draw sellers/customers once all ship features are in place and working properly.
I love my Zibbet shop, let me tell you... i´m a Etsy shop owner since 2015 and my store doesn´t look so beautiful as the one on Zibbet. The customer service is great, although the sales are not like Etsy i had a few sales per month (I opened my store a year ago) I work really hard in order to bring traffic to my shop so is not only create a listing and wait for sales, it is about how much work you do.
I totally recommend it ;) My shop is LythiumArt from Venezuela, you are welcome!
Do not spend your money on their site, it is a scam and they take no responsibility for their sellers! I bought an item through them from a Yanna Kusumawati and the money was immediately taken from my account and I have heard nothing from either the seller or Zibbet after several attempts to reach out to them. I am now in the process of having Paypal reverse the charges and flag this seller, but the process is time consuming especially this time of the year. You would think using Paypal would legitimize the seller but it is not the case at Zibbetmarketplace!
Spotty communication at best. You have to jump through hoops to try to make a return! And then they stop communication altogether when you follow their return policy. Plus, you are out the money for shipping both ways if they accept the return. RETURNS ARE IMPOSSIBLE. Do NOT buy!
What an awful site. The views you do get are bots, the sales are totally dismal, the owners control the forums to keep hard questions and complaints off and troll social media to silence any complaints, they didn't provide the services to bring in buyers that they advertised. They make their money luring in paying sellers not bringing in buyers. Many of their most ardent supporters sell well on Etsy, rarely on Zibbet, yet claim Zibbet is so much better. More to that story, lol! Not worth one penny or one minute. Run away!
When I opened a shop on Zibbet I was so hopeful for growth. There was enthusiastic discussion about promotions and a rebuild and real growth. Unfortunately none of those things happened. In hindsight, paying for a year was a poor decision. The owners are no longer friendly and open. Forums are now on some sort of 'lock down', and so many people have been muted entirely, there seems little interaction at all. It can be hours before anyone even shares a thought there. I can't in good conscience recommend this site for sellers or buyers, and I still have a shop there! I'm in the group who signed on in the fall as a premium seller, and haven't sold a single thing. That is despite the fact that I have been successful on other venues. I really don't even get views there. It's just such a mess. I can't for the life of me see how they will recover from the latest mistakes they've made.
No traffic, broken search, and in my experience, resellers are not shut down. Trademark violations are rampant. If those things bother you about Etsy, don't think the grass is any greener at Zibbet. I was there 9 months, 0 sales. Meanwhile my Etsy shop generated over 200 sales. The "site improvements" have been promised for over 3 years. Still no sign of them. There is absolutely no reason to pay for a shop at Zibbet, and even giving their free shop option a try is a complete waste of time.
As a store owner, I love Zibbet. There are so many great features and they are adding even more soon! My sales and traffic are picking up and I also really love having just one fee with unlimited listings (or a free shop if I so choose). It allows me to create as much as I want and not worry about being able to afford an insertion fee. Once I pay for that year everything above that is profit (except for paypal fees, of course)
I cannot say enough good things about Zibbet as a seller. It is growing exponentially since Etsy decided to redefine "handmade" to include factory made, manufactured, and mass produced items. In response, Zibbet made a commitment to buyers and sellers "to fight hard to stay true to our mandate of being a "handmade" marketplace, not a venue for "re-sellers" or purveyors of "mass-produced" goods." The Zibbet community is strong, committed, and driven to grow this site to be the top marketplace for real handmade, vintage, fine art, and supplies.
Zibbet represents my ethos and values, which was important to me when I was picking a venue to replace Etsy.
Zibbet is truely the last great handmade website, since Etsy recently announced they will be allowing manufactures and resellers on their site, and no longer supporting handmade artists.
Zibbet however has a very attentive staff that are always in the forum, answering questions and keeping everyone updated on their upcoming rebuild.
I have a Premium Account, which allows me to show up on the front page regularly, customize my shop site colors to match my merchandise, and even allows me to add widgets to my Facebook, Twitter, Blog, and yes, even my Etsy shop (although I do not do this last one).
Zibbet really is the best!
I ordered a dress from this site and it was a totally different dress in real life! Customer services explanation was that all dressed come different which I accept but this was way off. Don't waste your money or time. They should be ashamed of themselves for ripping people off! Kristin - Los Angeles, CA (I tried to attached pictures from my iPhone but I need to download in a different format, sorry don't have time w/ 3 kids) Hope you find this helpful and DO NOY BUY. FAKE DRESSES
The absolute worst site I have ever had the misfortune to not sell on. Be very aware most rating this site 5 stars have zero sales there. Site owners lied about using google shopping, the find, a site rebuild - 3 years still no rebuild. White Rabbit knows ask him!
Although I did not continue on with this site, I can't speak highly enough of their customer support. Every query was answered promptly.
I loved the look of my site, but circumstances stopped me from continuing.
As with any personal website, seller needs to do some promotion of their own. This is not like ebay and Etsy where you can just leave it all up to them. So much less in fees, but need to work on own exposure. In my view, this site is a great alternative to having your own website, not so much an alternative to Ebay or Etsy where you pay high fees for far greater exposure.
I am happy with this site, and will give it another go when I have more opportunity to give it my all.
I paid for a premium zibbet account so I could sell my products on their website. After disappointing results I decided to cancel my annual subscription in 2013. They're still charging my paypal account! How many times do I have to tell them?!? If you're thinking about using Zibbet I would think twice!
Disillusioned by the changes at Etsy and declining sales, I joined Zibbet. I'd never heard of Zibbet before, but I figured its good not put all my eggs in one basket and Etsy started somewhere too. I figured maybe Zibbet was on the verge of becoming something big and I was getting in while the getting was good.
Nope. I was wrong. I opened by Zibbet shop on Dec 5. As of today, I have less than 200 views and no sales. For the same period on Etsy, I had 22,274 views, 68 sales and revenue of $4888. My sales on Etsy may be on the decline, but at least I'm getting sales, which is more than I can say about Zibbet. It burns me to think that I upgraded from the free Zibbet category just so I could see the dismal Zibbet stats. I'll be cancelling when my year membership is up.
Answer: Yes, that would be a Zibbet website. Zibbet has a marketplace and each seller also has their own web page. That's what you're seeing. Beautiful dresses!
Answer: Yes, this is a seller's website. Zibbet has a marketplace and each seller has a website of their own as well.
Answer: It depends on each shop and their shipping times. You should contact the seller you purchased your item from and see what they say. If they are unresponsive, I'd ask Zibbet support. It may take a day, but they'll get back with you.
Answer: No, migrating your items over to Zibbet will not close your Etsy store. In fact, Zibbet just announced that they will be linking with other selling venues and Etsy will be the first. This means that when an item sells on Etsy the quantity automatically adjusts in your Zibbet store. This will be a MAJOR time saver and will make selling on both marketplaces much easier. Pricing for some of their packages is expected to drop, too!
Zibbet has a rating of 2.5 stars from 57 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Zibbet ranks 10th among Vintage Clothing sites.
