First off, Zearn proclaims that it can help children get better at math, but my class has covered most of these concepts already, and when I DO learn a new subject, it normally just skips a few lessons on it, until my teacher goes full in depth with the suggested subject via an entire UNIT. It only gets worse. The cube resets your Tower of Power floor, when you leave the Tower of Power, it takes you to the very start, your loved lessons aren't in the Math Library in an entirely separate section, and it kind of FORCES you to get the correct answer, like a reviewer said. I know this may seem ridiculous, but there are SO MANY FLAWS with the minigames before math chat or math lab. For instance, in the minigame "Sprint", you can wait out the timer after you get 1 question correct in order to INSTANTLY WIN THE MINIGAME. Plus, the math chat and math lab baby you into getting the question right all the time. I get it if you want us to move on, but don't blatantly INSULT us when we get it wrong, Like, what the heck is "Try again" gonna do? I have no idea why my district uses this, but I sure regret being in the era of Zearn.

I hate zearn because it lowers my self-esteem. I keep on seeing that stupid cube when I get even one try wrong, and I used math, but that stupid system is always like "OH, YOU'RE WRONG, LET'S GO THROUGH THIS PROBLEM TOGETHER, YOU STUPID DUMB-DUMB!" like, I calculated it! I did the math! But, when I enter on the tower of power, it says "Nuh uh, you're really stupid, kids are always like that. Here, let's do it together, just to get either what you answered, or the wrong answers because when we think we're helping you, we're just making you extra depressed and misinformed! You'll never graduate anything with OUR 'education and help' and now you're crying and screaming while the creator is swimming in her money made from tears like yours!" (Yes, I actually cried because I couldn't complete a dumb tower of power. I can't wait until my teacher moves me to the next mission because I couldn't complete the one I'm on.) I want the creator dead. She's a real, big old dumby. All she's doing is making me sad, not smart.

My son hates zearn. It is overused and unhealthy for my child, and he is not learning anything from zearn.
