Hey, Fifth Grade student here. I really think Zearn is not a healthy thing to give kids. And often it overcomplicates things and stretches out simple problems like 4 + 18. And that's not even the start of it. I have ADHD and Anxiety and It has been proven that it affects those kinds of people. This app causes me panic attacks, depressive episodes, and suicidal thoughts. I really don't know what else to put here but have you even SEEN the other reviews? They're all the same! "Zearn is bad" "Zearn is tiring" "Stupid yellow cube" "tower of power is bad" It's clear this is horrible.

Kids across America are hating math more and more because of a website called Zearn. Zearn uses a strategy other companies have banned called the "One Shot and Restart" method to try and teach kids. But after kids lose that one shot, they have to restart on a harder question without enough explanation, which for many kids, can be so infuriating, they make conclusions about the overall subject and cause them to dislike learning about any sort of math. In conclusion, Zearn is harming our children and should NOT be a required activity in schools.

Hi I am 13 year old student in 7th grade, my teachers make me and my classmates do zearn, and it is not ideal for learning math at all. It teaches the same concept over and over, and when you actually are learning something the question will be worded in the most absurd way possible, making it impossible to solve. If I were you I would just get Khan Academy. It offers way more lessons then Zearn, like coding, pre-algebra, and plotting graphs with algebra, and plus you can pick what you want lessons you want to do all by your self. Unlike Zearn were you only have a limited amount of lessons, and you cant pick. This is my humble opinion and I hope you take the advice that I have givin.

It sucks because in Tower of Power, if you get one question wrong it makes you finish the question, then you have to do another problem. I advise all teachers to not use this app. And just so you know, I have complete experience in using Zearn so I know this stuff firsthand.

Zearn has made me suicidal. Do not under any circumstances use this website. I would literally defenestrate myself without opening the window first than use this. Im who know how many lessons behind because the cheese man keeps attacking me. Zearn, go do everyone and everything a favor by deleting yourself. Zearn go $#*! yourself it would be better for both of us

Pretty bad, Everything overall is bland and makes no sense. Even teachers hate it! Just never use it because it takes a long time, doesn't make sense, and makes you want to grab a hammer and smash the device you are using it on

Zearn took my virginity, and not in a good way. There's so much math, that I've stopped learning. Zearned it? More like I'm concerned about it. I started using this product in 2018, and since then, I'd rather stub my toes a million times than even look any of the teachers at zearn in the eye. I'm gay, zearn makes me straight. This website is full of propaganda. It's like they'll come straight out of the screen and shoot you if you get a single question about circles wrong. Every time I see zearn, I immediately turn off the device. The teachers are terrible, not to mention scary. I don't wanna try to learn math while the teachers are burning holes into my head in the middle of a learning lab. And don't even get me started on the tower of power. It doesn't make me understand the topic, it makes me lose braincells. Who thought of this? Please consider thinking of anything else.

First off Zearn is just terrible. Next, there is this tower of power thing and if you miss type 1 number you get sent back to the bottom and there is this annoying block of cheese that says, need a boost, just because I miss typed 1 number and then you get a whole different question after your done with the boost. The only thing Zearn did for me is get me mentally and physically insane. The only thing Zearn really tought me is to break my computer. Very bad, don't use. For your own safety, I learned that the hard way.

This causes pain in those who use it. I would never recommend this program to any school. It might be free, but the amount of pain and suffering this causes is not worth losing many, many hours of students life. Very ineffective.

I, myself, hate Zearn because it does not help with math at all. Children are having trouble focusing on stuff due to Zearn pressuring them into getting it right, and if they get it wrong on ToP (Tower of Power), they have to restart and do an entirely different equation, causing them to feel tormented because they are being forced into something they don't like. Overall, don't use Zearn at all, and schools shouldn't use it either!

The image below is "7th Grade math". The question was which image looks closest to the original. Zearn's "Tower of Power" teaches us how to climb the tower to get the power of losing brain cells. My grade is lucky enough to my provided with Desmos as the main math provider. We are only required to use this brain pollution as "advanced math", while the rest of the school has to use it for all of the math classes. I'm disappointed by the fact that they ask you to donate to this $#*!. Whatever nimrod made this can go $#*! themselves.

When I first started using zearn I was in 4th grade and as soon as I started using it I knew that it was going to be bad. At the tower of power I was doing a lesson and I got one question wrong and it gave me that dumb little box that says: " LETS WORK ON THIS TOGETHER" or something like that. If you get an answer wrong it takes you there and it doesn't even tell you how to correct your mistake. What's even worse is that several teachers are finally noticing that Zearn is bad enough. Zearn really needs more help than we need help on math. Also Zearn never really helped me improve on math. It made me stressed and frustrated which is bad because I LOVE math and that says a LOT! So teachers reading this, please don't consider using zearn at all unless you wan't stressed out kids. Instead give them IXL. IXL may not be fun, but at least it is not as annoying as Zearn

Zearn is the worst i'm in fourth grade and the "warn ups are for 1st graders.it turns a simple problem such as 3 times 9 in to the longest math problem ever!they also add way to many usless steps!the tower of power when you do one mistake you lose all your progress and can make kids very anxious!NEVER USE ZEARN.

Zearn is the worst! It keeps teaching the same stuff over and over again and has a bunch of useless things like sprint. I recommend this app for only Kindergarden and below. What kind of 4th grader needs to learn what 5x8 is? It is pure torture but my teacher requires at least 4 lessons in 1 week. I really wish Zearn would be shut down.

I hate zearn. Zearn makes me feel like a pile of poop on the tower of power. I like how much I hate the game it's demoralizing and made me suffer from ADHD. The nut sack is so small I don't even know what to do anymore. I'm not even kidding I don't think I can handle the sheer amount of foolishness of the whole process of getting a new pair of shoes. I can't even begin to describe how much I hate wearing shoes. I'm not a big girl and I'm a little boy so I'm both. Zearn is racist and homosexual happily married to a little girl. As a student, I need to learn. I get good grades and one of the top students, so when we used this for the first week everyone hated it. Even me, and it's still like that. The reason is that, when you learn you want to be hooked and like it, even if you don't like it at least learn something. But for this, you forget everything as it's just so boring when you're done, the only thing you know is that you're done but you don't want to do more. Sometimes you're stuck on it for hours as it isn't giving an answer. Know that you have to pay for this crap, do not get this for your students and find something other but this.

This is the worst math app I have ever used. I remember when I was on the tower of power and was on the last problem and then the stupid do you need a boost showed up and I literally almost punched my computer. In conclusion this is the worst app I have ever used.
