Relentless emails/harassment. This company will not leave you alone even when you ask them to be removed for their email list every day more emails they never stop. If a company can't honor their word then I definitely would not invest with them

Little value and once you are on their email list, it will never stop. I've clicked on the "unsubscribe" link many times. I've had email discussions with them where they tell me I will be removed. Yet spam email continues to roll in.

How knowledgeable?
October 29, 2019

This so-called "stock research company" has revised its ratings as many as 5 times within one week on several stocks that I own. If they are at all knowledgeable about the companies that they are rating, why do they change their ratings so many times in such a short period of time? What events or trends have occurred that compel them to change their ratings so frequently? As is the case with all of these so-called "stock research" companies, they are not required to explain the actual reasons for their change in rating. I am not a subscriber and have no intention of being one. There is something very fishy here. I just looked at the other reviews here, including those of subscribers, and almost all of them are "poor". How does a company like this remain in business when they have such a terrible reputation?

Lots of news coverage, which is useful, but their "stock research" is extremely biased. They hide the fact that they are receiving soft dollar compensation from the company for their "research". Companies can essentially "buy" positive recommendations from Zacks, so don't trust what they say

Inconsistent
May 20, 2022

-The managers of the various investment profiles inside Zacks (home run, value, income investors etc.) don't listen to their own website recommendations, i. E. they buy stock that ranks number 4 or 5 and sell stock that ranks number 1 or 2. Many times they keep stock in their portfolios even when ranking drops to 5. How do you expect investors to trust zacks score rank if your own portfolio managers don't follow.

-The rank scores (1 to 5) feels random sometimes, i. E. you might have a core =1 (strong buy) for a stock that has sub-scores of F for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum. The opposite is also true with stocks ranking at 5 while scoring A for all criteria of value, growth, and momentum.

-I have not made any significant gains by following the rank scores nor any of their portfolios.

I tried zacks for a while... they had a couple of decent stock picks. Overall, too much information. Their outlook on their picks change too frequently... so be sure to do your research before diving into one of their picks. One week its a strong buy... next week its neutral.

Its a lot better than fool.com or SA as lets ads and in general you can find some good basic info, but you can end your search there. Move to other sites or do your own dilligience and you could walk away with some gems

I would not pay for this service as you can get a lot of the stuff they offer from free at finviz.com and simillar sites. However, the free options can provide you with general information and then its up to you to dig deeper.

A must have tool for any investor!
August 5, 2021

The Zacks Research Wizard, has been a great tool for my personal investing. Price and Fundamental Charts help me see how these variables affect each other. Enabling me to identify winners at an early stage. I've had great picks like ROKU and SQUARE before the rally.

What I like and dont like
January 22, 2021

Best is your Zack Rating. Buying good rating is key. Do you have a service that allow me to "input" a stock name, and you can provide a Zack rating? Or in some cases as "not rated" is fine.
What can improve? Your service is very well classified into many categories and cater for many types of investors/traders... but to a common mortal like us is too many, we don't know how to choose because we dont really know what we want, and we changes all the time haha... eg myself looking for some kind of shorter term swing trade (not day trading) so I/we can be more focus and Not Overwhelmed and frustrated... yet can see some good results in a couple of weeks or 1-2 mths?

The $1 Trial is Well Worth It
August 6, 2023

If you can get 30 days of the Ultimate service for $1, do it! I've seen many negative reviews from people who simply didn't know how to turn off auto-renew after trying a trial period. And then they got charged. (Zack's makes this point clear when you sign up. You will be charged if you don't cancel.) It couldn't be easier. Go to "My Account", go to "Orders" and turn off auto-renew. Done. And you can do this the day you buy the trial. You still get your 30 days. They actually allowed me to sign-up for a "30 days at $1" deal four times! Then they told me I'd reached my limit. That gave me four months to look at EVERYTHING. Once you're in, I suggest looking at the various portfolios you can follow. They are actually very transparent. You can see every stock a particular portfolio has bought and sold, and how much money they made or lost on each one. You can even go back and look at results from previous years. (Once you're on a portfolio page, click on "Performance.") Each portfolio is run by a stock analyst, and they each provide regular updates on their portfolios, explaining why they are buying or selling a particular stock. The service isn't cheap. But try the $1 offer and click around. Look at everything. If you come to the site to buy a few random "Strong Buy" stocks here and there, you will fail. There's a lot more to investing than that. But the $1 trials are well worth it. (I did eventually buy into the service. It's only been a couple of months, so I can't say too much. But so far, I am having more success than when I was picking stocks on my own.)

Zack's changes mind?
October 9, 2018

Here is an example of Zack's sucking. Look at different advice for GRPN, just 3 days apart! 10/6 is "Hold to Buy" and then 10/9 "Buy to Hold." Nice work!

Surprising flexibility with Zacks Rank System
October 24, 2023

With Zacks Rank System I get a good orientation to find the right stocks for me. That gives confidence in trading, thank you!

I prefer trading options. Because of the tax law in my country I do only work with selling options. That opens up more flexibility to my trading. For me, Zacks Rank #1 or #5 give an idea of the direction of price development. If I sell options on the picked underlying Zacks Rank stock I gain an additional advantage because of the spread between stock price and option strike price. That means, even if the underlying stock won't make the expected move or even slightly moves in the wrong direction, I am still able to earn premium.

So, thanks for this beautiful Zacks Rank System!

Active Investing: 10 minutes per month only
October 6, 2023

I am using using "Big Money" and "Filtered Zacks Rank5" strategies and seeing very good results. It has 8 stocks in total.
I just need to spent 10 minutes every first Monday of the month to run the screener, buy and sell as per the screener output.

I don't need to know macro, events, news, technical or fundamental knowledge as it is all covered in Zacks rank and screen filters.

I have been trading stocks since the early 1960s! I have had some good years and some bad ones, but overall, the value of my portfolio has not increased in value much. In the first month of having access to all of Zacks research I was able to see why; much of my equity was tied up with stocks that I continued to carry waiting for my 'hot stock tip' investments to recover. With Zacks research data I was able to see which stocks needed to be sold, even at their perennial losses. With the money from those sales I was able to buy stocks with high Zacks Rank. My portfolio is healthier and growing well.

What I can't understand is companies saying - "sign up and you get everything we have to offer) and then once signed up they try to sell you more stuff. Having said that so far Zacks has been pretty good and after a month or so it has returned my investment. They really have got this sorted - I took out a trial subscription to Motley Fool at the same time but I thought Zacks information and analysis was better for what I wanted to do (swing trading) MF is better for long term holdings which wasn't for me.
Well done Zacks and if you hadn't tried to sell me the ultimate solution in finding trades you would have got 5 stars

Zacks Confidential hand-selected picks and predictions are valuable features. I trust that hand-selected picks can bring me some profit. I have closed Sterling Infrastructure for a gain of +25% and Vertiv Holdings for a gain of +30%.

Organized... Focussed... Result Oriented
February 16, 2021

Have been using both the Zacks Research and Portfolio Management group for about 9 months now. First it helped me make some good money so that's where it should start and end. However I love the way the portfolio managers write their daily notes providing, assurance when things go bad, being realistic to define exits and helping stay in the game for big gains. I also like the personal touch they bring and even reading at times makes it look conversational. Today I just buy based on message triggers and read the details later because now I feel comfortable with the quality of research and the judgement of the portfolio managers. While am less than a year with Zacks but am excited to keep this relationship going and growing. Cheers.

JUST GOOD ADVICE
February 10, 2021

I have been interested in share dealings for quite a few years but have been with Zacks only a short time, since July 2020 actually. I started reading about how to go about finding your preferred trading strategy but being a very impatient man i did not go through it all. I subscribed for the newsletters and decided to work on the recommendations therein. I have found them to be absolutely fantastic. It is not possible to invest in everything so i chose those that I like best. To date this has turned out fantastically well. I have tried banks' wealth management and private fund managers but was never satisfied. In a few short months I've had a 29% increase in my portfolio. No one has ever given me this return. Thank you Zacks
