I can't say the site is total BS, because it does suck in the odd desperate woman as well as us loser men. I got a msg from a woman who was not your typical playboy model like all the others seem to be, and after I responded she gave me her number. We met, and now have a regular hook-up thing going on.

Leaving that little bit of luck aside, I agree with all of the other comments. Uncommonly attractive women (fake pictures) initially interested in unregistered profiles to lure you in, then nothing but cryptic messages in response to emails. They all claim they "need to get to know me better via chatting on emails" then leave cryptic 6 word sentences in reponse to my lengthy emails, like:
"My expectations are not very high. What do you expect from me?"

All contacts start out very strong, then seem to accuse me of rushing them, then eventually all contact is ended.

After reading these reviews and confirming my own suspicions, I have definitely decided to forego renewing my 1-month subscription. Are there any legitimate sex personals out there?

Alright guys heres one for you. I got sick of the problems with xxmatch.com and sent them an email telling them what i thought. A few days later i got an email stating my membership had been canceled. Hows that for a sore loser hay. I agree on the fake profiles and they also filter out words like msn to keep you on their website and make it hard to ask someone if they want to chat off the site by auto filtering everything.
If anyone wants to take it further with this site you can count me in

I found this site via Google. I signed up, for free of course, and set up a profile for a couple seeking a single woman. I emailed 1 or 2 people on the site who looked like good prospects. Within a day, I got email back but I had to buy a membership to see the mail. So I took the bait and paid. I exchanged mail with 2 of the people and one is clearly a total fake. She would never answer my questions and would only reply back with vague replies such as, "Tell me all about yourself..." She also used terms or phrases that lead me to believe that English may not be her first language.

The second person looked legit to start off, but she too has avoided answering any details questions, saying only that she'd love to meet us. I have gone through the details and I know what I need to do to cancel my membership. If this second person is a fraud like the first one, I'm cancelling well before the the end of the 30 day membership.

The people on this site tend to only reply to email messages every 2 to 4 days which I think is an attempt to draw things out so your membership will auto-renew.

I've had much better luck on Plentyoffish and on adultfriendfinder.

Stay away from this site. Nothing but bots and fake profiles as far as you care to look, and constant bombardment with porn site ads on every page, even with a paid membership.

I did a Google image search with the profile picture of one of the many 20-something "women" who initiated contact with me (I had a generic, no-photo profile) using vague one-liners.

The first hit showed the picture to be from a woman's LinkedIn profile. I found her Facebook page, and interviews with her in print and on YouTube. The "woman" communicating with me was CLEARLY NOT the same person. Never mind all the burned guys here calling for a class-action lawsuit (we should have known better), all the respectable women out there who have had their photos misappropriated by sites like this have a definite cause of action for defamation and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Okay, so, 2 bucks (the trial membership) to relearn a valuable life lesson.

The old adage applies here: Cheap, Fast, Good. You can have only two.

1. Cheap, Fast: Wank yourself silly to the cornucopia of free porn on the Internet.
2. Fast, Good: Whether it be phone sex, an Internet cam, or an IRL prostitute, if you want fast relief with a real live woman, you are going to have to pay for it.
3. Cheap, Good: You will have to spend many, many, many hours, days, weeks and months searching to find an IRL woman who wants NSA sex and MEANS IT. And if you value your limited time on this Earth, how cheap is that option, really?

At first I thought it was legit because I would get returned emails Then I noticed a few things. One was a number of the girls would use some of the same words like baby, babe, and hun. I thought what 24 year old girl calls someone "hun"? Then I realized when I would even come close to hooking up with someone the emails would suddenly stop coming and it would happen every time. My last person I was close to hooking up with on the site I expressed how I read that the site was a fraud and she said that she heard the same and thought I was an actor as well. I started to think she was real because of her response and she even asked for my number. I gave it to her but as should have been expected there has been no phone call. Anyway I definitely think the site is a total fraud and if subscribed to it you should cancel the subscription. The site Adultfriendfinder.com I almost thought the same but I actually hooked up with someone there so I know it can happen. It was discouraging when I got almost the same exact reply message from 2 different girls showing me it does have automated or fake messages they send to people from fake people but again I did actually hookup so Its possible. Xxxmatch is a total fraud though.

I recently joined this site but after reading tons of negative reviews, I've cancelled my membership. Unfortunately, I joined as a gold member so I've already lost close to $90. HOW IN THE WORLD IS THIS LEGAL? Like many others I began as a basic (free) member w/ no picture & began receiving tons of requests from very attractive women to meet in person. At first I thought "Well that's odd" but I let my notions get the best of me & upgraded to gold. I accepted all my proposals to meet in person but never got a single response. After receiving all the one liner emails like "what are you here looking for?" I grew suspicious & began searching the poor reviews. I only wish I had done it sooner. So I decided to try something out. In the "My Match" column I posted: "If you are real then send me a pic of yourself holding a piece of paper with my name on it." Within minutes I got an email from the xxxmatch staff stating they couldn't update my post because it violates their guidelines. Really? I've decided to report these bs artists to the FTC & hopefully get my money back. Please do the same. If they get enough complaints they'll eventually put xxxmatch on their radar & shut them down.

As a free basic member I gave little info about myself but, purposely gave VERY un-inviting profile information. In effect, I posed as an ugly old troll that no one in there right mind would have contacted. I Immediately started receiving seductive sexy invitations telling me "we must meet" and "you are a very sexy man" yet I didn't even have a photo posted.

Two weeks later joined as a Gold member after being suckered in despite my better judgment. I changed my profile to reality (really me) and the same and more seductive messages continued (dozens & dozens). Profile members (that I question as possible xxxmatch implants) contact you all hot & lathered yet with meaningless words and short sentences that go absolutely nowhere for days... weeks and it's always 1 :o' clock - 3am time stamped and always 2-4 days apart keeping you hanging for days. (works just like they want if your on the edge of expiring so you will renew membership)

I live in a tri city area with a population over 2.7 million combined. After joining I then saw 100's of expired profiles (last activity 6 months-1 year) with only a 1/2 page of current members in which case have so far all turned out deceptive fakes. As a group complaining, this site should be reported to the Federal Trade Commissions internet fraud division.

Both XXXDate and XXXMatch are pure unadulterated fraudsters! It didn't take long to figure their scam. Each woman profile, I noticed they have been inactive for one, two or three months or longer. Messages were sent to some of these inactive profiles. A reply was returned within about one day; however their inactiveness remained the same (clue #1). In my messages, I composed a few trick questions and I must say their replies were hilarious and $#*!ed including misspellings and, their sentence construction was horrible (clue #2). The bottom line is this; through some research; these sites are owned and operated from offshore and all return replies are composed and sent from offshore locations as well but, they made one big mistake; (clue #3) their banking is in the U.S. Therefore, I filed fraud charges against them through my bank and received a refund within thirty-six (36) hours. Oh yaw, five days into my membership the taped my CC for an additional $29.95 but I got that back as well!

Here is the deal, the site is full of bots, fake profiles and either professional escorts or hookers. When I changed my profile to exclude the professional sex worker to avoid being robbed, or caught in a sting by law enforcement my inbox dropped to zero.

This is not to say I was looking to hook up with a supermodel like some of you guys complaining, you have to be morons to think that is going to happen, they do not need a website.

I was just trolling for the average to less than average type that wants to hook up online, have done this in the past on other sites and they work well when the profiles are not a bunch of fake ads.

This is my first and last time using this site, I have chatted online with and spoken with a few real women from the site but by and large they are hookers, or want to be sugar babies, none of them were fine enough for the money.

I have met one so far that is not any of the forementioned types and she is just what I expected average, lonely, with sometime to kill out of the 50 or more contacts, that based on my history is a pretty poor record for an online hook up site. I have done better with Match.com and AshleyMadison.com for the occassional hookup, if you must do online go elsewhere, this site sucks.

Better still save your money, go to a bar, meet her and drink her pretty, eventually she will think you are ok too and your chances of getting laid is way better than xxxmatch.com

Im not here to moan and $#*! about Xxxmatch. Do I get laid as often as they claim? Not a chance. Do I get replies from many girls that arent fakes? Not as often as Id like. Are there better sites out there? Well anyone who has tried hookuphangout.com or some of the new apps knows that there are better options. But at the end of the day, if I get laid from this site twice a year its still cheaper than going to an escort or going out to bars every weekend where it costs as much to get in on a Saturday night as it does for a whole month of chancing your luck on a dating site. So no, its not a simple way to get your rocks off but it does work occasionally, and so it shouldnt be put down in the way some people are doing here. Seriously, some people just love a moan! Instead of complaining why not give us a better alternative? I cant think of a better way to get laid apart from getting a girlfriend and there is no damn way im doing that! The site is a scam. The people that respond to you are either not real or are people being paid by the site to string you along. However, for anyone who has paid for a membership and discovered this after the fact, you can get your money back. Let me explain, I was dumb enough to try it without looking at reviews first myself. Normally I would check out other reviews like this site, but for some reason I did not this time. But it did not take me very long to figure out it was BS because the one or two line responses to my emails did not make any sense. So I went to the EPOCH billing website (the people who charge your credit card). And raised a bunch of hell with one of the customer service people in a live chat session. After telling them that the site is a fraud and that the people are not real on there, EPOCH refunded my money so no harm no foul and a lesson to be learned is all I guess. But hopefully you all will not make the mistake I did and have to compain to get your money back. But those of you who fell for it at first like I did should go vigorously complain with EPOCH and you will probably get some or all of your money back like I did because they ar a legit third party billing service.
