They've changed delivery dates on me three times!

I made a purchase on Amazon for a bed. I used Amazon/XPO's program to schedule my delivery for 12/8. On 12/5 I received an automated call informing me that my delivery was expected to arrive between 9am and 12pm that day. Confused why I was receiving this message on 12/5 when the delivery was scheduled for 12/8, I checked my Amazon account. Looking at my account the order stated that a delivery attempt was made on Friday, December 2nd. Confused by this, I called Amazon who looped in someone from XPO. Here I was informed that the delivery was rescheduled for 12/12, but I wasn't informed why this change was made nor had I been informed why I hadn't been notified of this change or why I was receiving automated calls about receiving the delivery on Monday, 12/5. XPO assured me that I would receive my bed on Thursday, 12/8; however, after waiting for the delivery all day I called XPO. XPO informed me that they had rescheduled my delivery, again, on 12/12 without ever contacting me (text, call, email, etc.) that they wouldn't not be able to make the delivery on 12/8. I took a vacation day to ensure that I was home to accept delivery. They informed me that they only can make deliveries in my area on Mondays. Which would have been fine if the person I spoke to on Monday, 12/5, would have informed me that was the case. While I still question why they made a delivery attempt on Friday 12/2 when they're only able to make deliveries in my area on Mondays, I've found myself out of a vacation day and now needing to take another vacation day on 12/17 because of XPOs series lack of communication. It would have been NICE if someone from XPO would have informed me that they had to change the delivery date. It would have been NICE if the person from XPO would have informed me that they are only able to deliver items to my area on Mondays instead of assuring me that I would have the bed delivered and installed on Thursday, 12/8. It would have been NICE if XPO would have stop terminating my calls while trying to get everything straightened out. It would have been NICE if they would have emailed me, sent me a text, called me, or have at least made an attempt to inform me ahead of time that their system wasn't able to limit which days they are available to make deliveries.

Sorry Excuse for a Logistics Company

XPO Logistics was suppose to deliver an appliance to my home I had purchased from the manufacturer.
The date of delivery was set two weeks in advance. The day before the scheduled delivery, I received an email saying the delivery would occur the following day by 12:30 PM. I had a question whether I would called when the delivery driver was in route. I called the customer service line provided and received the standard "due to high call volume, it may take longer than normal to answer your call...blah blah blah", they all say that now. But when I was put in the call que, I received a recording that there were zero calls a head of me. Great I thought! Then I held for 25 minutes with no one ever answering. I hung up and the morning of the delivery, I tried calling again. Same result, no one ahead of me in the que, another 25 mins on hold, no one ever answered.
I stayed home from work waiting in the delivery. About 11:30 AM, an hour before the expiration of the delivery window, I grew concerned the delivery would be late and i would have to miss more work if I had to wait. (if I don't work, I don't get paid). I called the customer service line and again no one would answer. I then tried the chat feature that was linked to the email I had received and after about 20 minutes, someone actually answered. I provided my information and the agent looked up the status.
I was then informed I would have to reschedule because my delivery was canceled. The reason it was canceled? No reason was provided,. The agent thought perhaps it was because they determined they couldn't fit into their delivery schedule. This is a sophisticated, technology driven logistics company? Hardly!
What is so infuriating about it is that they didn't have the decency to let me know the delivery had been canceled. So I missed a half days work and a half day's pay for no reason other than XPO is incompetent when it comes to logistics, has little concern about its customers and has virtually no customer service. But to add insult to injury, the earliest they would rescheduled the delivery was 9 days later. It would have been nice if they would have have expedited my delivery given what they put me through. Any reputable company would. But this company just doesn't care. It is a despicable operation.

How do you loose a PALLET?

XPO Logistics was hired to deliver my freight, XOP picked up my freight from my supplier in Warren MI on 6/2/2022 & was received in the Garland TX warehouse on 6/7/2022@ 3:01am. On 6/7/2022@ 11:56am it was out for delivery, no sign of the driver. Driver claims that he attempted delivery at 6:37pm. Wouldn't you call the business to see if they are open if you are delivering after 5:00 pm. I was still at work until 7:28 pm that evening. Thinking that it will be delivered in the next couple of days, but NOTHING. So I call XPO and they said that they will have it out the Next day. No delivery & no sign of the driver. So i put in another call at the local warehouse in Garland TX, they said it would be out tomorrow. Again, no sign of the driver & i put another call in & they said it would be out the next day. Again, no sign of the driver. So i put in another call to find out why my pallet is not been delivered, they tell me that THEY CAN'T LOCATE MY PALLET. From what I can tell, my pallet was never scanned to go out for delivery AS PER THE TRACKING SUMMARY & if it was out for delivery & taken back to the warehouse, it should have been scanned again when it was unloaded off the truck... They said that they done a dock search, have looked at video footage & it was loaded on a trailer to OK, but again NO SCANNING was done & then they tell me that the trailer is in San Antonio TX. They contacted San Antonio and they did a dock search & it has just VANISHED. This is a pallet with 3 x V8 ENGINE BLOCKS in cardboard crate boxes, wrapped in black plastic. Now they say they have no idea where my freight is & to lodge an insurance claim. Problem is, we have had these items on order for over 10 months for customers & they are not readily available form my supplier. When you call XPO, their message is that they claim to be the best in the LTL freight business & that they have moved millions of LTL freight with zero claims. Well they have FAILED here & have a very bad process that has failed them. You don't just loose a pallet!... I would never use XPO, ever!

DO NOT use XPO

Have never written a review, however the experience we have had with XPO has been THAT BAD.

We ordered a refrigerator a month ago. We were told delivery would be Saturday the 18th between 9am and 1pm; that we would receive a call 1/2 hour prior to delivery. We got confirmation the day before that the delivery would be taking place. The delivery window came and went. No fridge. No contact from XPO.

Trying to contact XPO was a nightmare. When we finally did get through, their contact center representative told us that XPO does not have any way to contact their local hubs other than an email address. They do not keep lists of their drivers or contact info for the drivers. The best they could do was tell us that somehow the fridge didn't make it onto the truck for delivery, but they would put in a new order for delivery the following weekend

The same thing happened. This time when we contacted XPO they said somehow the order didn't get put through telling them to deliver the fridge. They said they would deliver it today, September 30th. We were given another confirmation the day before and a delivery window between 2 and 6, with a phone call half an hour before delivery. It is 5:50pm. No calls. No delivery.

We have been without a refrigerator for two weeks now and are literally at the mercy of a company who can do nothing more than keep telling us delivery is schedule for the next week over and over again.

We've even asked if we can drive to the local hub to pick up the refrigerator ourselves! Our fridge is literally 1.5 hours away from us. We were told no because of covid restrictions. We've tried contacting Samsung as well, they can't help us either.

After researching, this not a new problem. They have an F rating with the BBB. Multiple news reports can be found online as well with others who have experienced the same problem. Many who never ended up receiving their delivery at all!

The best I can do is warn others. DO NOT USE XPO. If you order something, make sure the company doesn't use XPO for delivery. You will not get your item.

Bed ordered may 11th. Due may 27th. Not delivered until June 8th. WTH. And the LIED!
NEVER AGAIN

Tip for consumers:

Don't Use XPO. Plan and simple.

HORRIBLE! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY

Horrible experience! I ordered Sept. 19 for shipment to Michigan. Was supposed to be shipped beginning of October. It took so long for delivery, I had actually moved over an hour away from original listed address. They had to use 3rd party shipping company as it is so far away from California. As soon as I received email to schedule shipping date,, I responded to email and asked them to change address. Supposed to be delivered Oct. 31. I also called XPO Oct. 19 to change delivery address and I thought everything was fine. Supposed to get a call with time window for delivery the night before. I never received a call, so I called XPO to verify. They had the wrong address still so I tried to change. She told me she could not change it and I had to contact Living Spaces to change. I called Living Spaces, and she told me she could not change it as it had already been sent out. I called XPO back and after fighting with me, she told me address was changed and it would be delivered next day. I called the next morning just to verify, and they still had the wrong address! She said she could not change it but put a comment in the delivery section with correct address. I then got a call from driver that he was 40 minutes away. Again, I asked to verify that he was going to correct address. He stated he was going to the old address! I told him that was not correct and he said he had to contact his boss to see what he should do and he would give me a call back in 10 minutes. Never got a call and no furniture was ever delivered. I called Living Spaces later that night to just cancel the whole order! She then told me that Living Spaces rep would have been the one to change the address, and that her supervisor was going to speak to the rep who told me she couldn't. I told them I do not want to deal with XPO or Living Spaces and I wanted to cancel the whole order and send it back and get a refund. She then informed me I would need to pay 10% restocking fee if I wanted to return the order. Absolutely ridiculous as none of it was my fault and noone could make it right. Will NEVER recommend to anyone! Oh yeah and also XPO keeps calling me to schedule the delivery even though I thought I canceled the order! I now have to wait for the furniture to get back to California before I receive a refund. So frustrated! All I wanted was nice furniture for my new home!

No customer service, broken promises

#Samsclub so disappointed in their lack of customer service, inability to resolve an issue much less acknowledge me or the issue. I ordered a mattress set on August 1,2020 with the delivery date by August 28th. Now it's October 14th and I'm still waiting. Now, if there had been any communication regarding the delay, I might have been more understanding. But there was none. I received a text stating my mattresses had been shipped on September 27th. Well, not to me but to a separate shipping company! To add insult to injury, they charged my credit card on September 27th. So anyway, I'm told that I will receive my mattress October 4th, NO SHOW! I had given away my current mattress and now was resigned to sleep on my sofa. So I get a new delivery date of October 7th. No show, no cancellation, no communication. Then I get a delivery date of October 20th. I contact Sam's to tell them I want a refund and to cancel the whole deal. They have the audacity to tell me to contact Serta! Serta tells me I have to contact Sam's. XPO doesn't even have a live person to talk to unless they call you! It's passing the buck on a whole new level. Now I get a text that the mattress will be delivered today, October 14th, but the real kicker is I will get a text with a time window the day BEFORE delivery. NOPE... that didn't happen and once again, I'm still waiting.
