This is the longest outage yet. The recording doesn't allow you to speak to anyone directly about the outage. This is the worst I've seen restoring internet in the walton and Rockdale County area. Will be calling for credit fir down service time!
If you do not have to use Comcast, don't! They have to have the most unsecure server for email. Every week I am sent an email & text to change my password. "This is Xfinity alerting you that there may be a potential issue with your Xfinity ID. Please check your email or visit Xfinity online to reset your password." Every Week! I tried calling on the issue and their customer service is clueless. Comcast/Xfinity is the worst EVER!
I have had Xfinity for five years now, best Internet For where I live. For almost two years I have been dealing with the most intrusive Malware out today. From a corrupted isp address to Malware on my phones. When I call Xfinity I get some guy who can hardly talk English and a staticy phone line. Who are these people? What's happened to Xfinity what country is customer service in. Now I am locked out of my account and when I go to change my Password I fill out top line go to do second line with password and the screen freezes and I can't change password, I'm so sick of this I just want a secure account so my question is Xfinity are you Hacked? If I need to go to the public library to use the internet it would be better than this sh*t. Their little timer on their customer service (or lack thereof) phone number is infuriating. They should credit me for the amount of time my service is out. If they haven't already moved their customer service to China, they need to.
I am using Xfinity internet at my home for about 10 months. A few days ago I reached out to a live agent for a connection issue. The agent suggested me a mobile phone for free and a plan for just $15. He told me, that I have the right to withdraw and if I don't like my phone and plan I would return them without any penalty, charge, fee, etc. I accepted and they send me the phone and plan. By the way, they got a $33,75 payment in my account. I want to return it and reached them. They told me that I need to activate it and then I need to pay $35 for sth. I rejected. But They told me if I do not accept this, I would have to pay for the plan and the phone. As a result, I will have to pay $35 for nothing. At first, I asked all the questions but the agent did not tell me like that. I have the transcript of our talks. This is literally cheating people by telling lies and giving wrong and missing information. Shame on you.

Absolutely horrible, can't record a stream with out watching it. Can't record a series without logging into and record the next episode individually. Picture quality sucks from what I came from. Logged into there site and wanted me to pay to talk to someone to help with there service I'm paying for, What the hell is that. My mother has xfinity and I had direct tv and we both had the exact same tvs and my pic was 100x better. Xfinity engineers need to go to work to catch up. I use to record 3 streams in high quality and watch a different channel all at once, nope not no more.
They will automatically cancel programs that were in your original line up. For example, to continue to get TCM you have to buy a sports package. How many people who want to watch TCM want to watch a sports package. B. S. Shame on them. My internet was always refreshing and after 8 months I was told I needed a new line. That was in January. Someone came out in April and put in about 1/3 of the line needed, cut it off and threw the rest of the cable over my fence. I saw it there. Now at the end of June someone came out to bury the cable and decided they had to put it 7 feet inside the gas line whereas before it was 3 feet. This inhibits me planting anything next to my fence. Plus the person who came out to mark to lines trampled all of my bushes and flowers to spray and sprayed paint all over my driveway and road. I realize Comcast doesn't have anything to do with the line markers, but what a disaster. I wish I never had Comcast, especially since their prices continue to be raised with fewer options.

Xfinity promises you one price for 2 years and somehow the price changes every freaking month. You can't get a hold of the customer service they don't put you on the phone with someone higher up if you ask. You can ever get in touch with someone to even talk to anyone. But they'll keep charging you money and after your 2-year agreement they upcharge the s*** out of you. I'm so fed up with this cable company lying cheating and stealing my money. I pay for higher speed internet the s*** stays the same it just f****** sucks. If there's any way I could sue these freaking cable company for all of us that are fed up with this company I would. Someone please reach out if they have any way of getting our money back! It is absurd that this company has been in business this long.
For 4 months straight in 2021 I had trouble with Xfinity... sometimes no cable or internet and they still charge me... their service sucks, prices are outrageous and their creditably is a no..
Very poor service …we have had them for 3 years now and the duck the interne keeps going out. Every morning for the last month I've had to reboot the modem and then you have to wait ten minutes for service again…. Plus when I call them they always try to up my speed and tell me that's the problem so they don't really have a clue other then they suck
Service was below par. It took 3 attempts and 2 rescheduling to get someone to come out. I am still waiting due to rescheduling.
Was a customer since 2004. I did auto pay. My phone was paid in full. I went to change service, they red lined my account and froze my phone. Have been without service for 4 days now with locked phone. Overseas customer service REALLY REALLY BAD. Being a senior citizen without phone service... very bad. Saying "I now HATE this company" is the nicest thing I can say about them.
I moved to the area last year and was under the impression that Xfinity was my only option for cable and internet. When I spoke to the salesman, he discussed switching my phones as well. I considered it but told him my home was being built and I would not make settlement until the end of the month. What did they do? Mail the SIM cards to an unfinished home. Needless to say, I never received them but was being billed for cards even though I called them immediately when I saw they had shipped. Fast forward, I just started renting out my home and was looking to try to find the cheapest internet deal I could get for the tenants. I realized to get the best rate, I would have to switch my phones so I decided to do that. I spoke to ELEVEN people that day over the course of TEN hours and the only thing I wound up doing was disconnecting both cable and internet because I was going around in circles. Here's the kicker, after spending all that time trying to give them business, they started calling me a day and a half later because I hadn't taken the equipment to the UPS store! Are you kidding me? Avoid this company if possible!
Make sure your payments are on time or get a shut off warning.
But have a service issue like the service line hanging 3 foot from the ground causing access and possible dangerous situation and told to wait 2 weeks for service to raise the line. Ridiculous.
Over $100 per month for "business" connection plus extra for "gamers" AND rent for their modem… and it's the worst I've ever seen after midnight with zero users on our network. Xfinity= Cheated.
I have so many complaints. 1st is they broke fcc laws by not letting us keep our mobile numbers that were originally Verizon #'s to begin with!. Then, only canceled one phone (on a stupid chat line instead of a real person!)and keep billing my daughter's - more expensive line (I am only assuming because my old phone was traded in). They wouldn't let me cancel my group phone, internet, cable last spring (of 2021) even though the contract was long expired and kept billing us even after we moved to another country! We handed in all our devices before we left. Now, back in the states, I can't get an agent to cancel the mobile phone of my daughter's, I had to hand in my old phone, so still dont know if they also are billing my number too. I can no longer use the mobile app to look into this because they suddenly have no information on my file. And when I have called (about 20 times)they immediately direct me to their collections company... still not canceling my daughter's phone (that is still getting calls and texts)and still racking up the bill! I can never get a live agent to settle all this b. S. so now I'm getting the FCC involved!
Literally, the worst internet provider I have ever dealt with! Not because the actual wifi has been bad but because customer service has no clue! Accounting has no clue! Everyone is overseas and do not understand the urgency of handling issues here in the U.S. Gravely unfortunate!
Comcast/Xfinity stiffs you with the mandatory $100 for a tech to come out and install equipment. Ok, most companies have a thing called 'self-install,' Not good ole Comcast/Xfinity. A $100 fine for this?! They are literally the only wifi provider in the part of Georgia I live in, or I'd be done for good!
There is ALWAYS an issue with my billing on my account, Always! And for something stupid and inconvenient. One rep says they'll fix it and days later I have to call back to check their work and confirm if the account was actually fixed... which is NEVER done until the 4th or 5th phone call/representative. I use too much of my time calling you all. I am paying Y'all to supervise my own account?
I was told today 7/1/22 that their "back office" just flipped a switch and cut my service off... I was in the middle of work with no wifi. Why do you ask? No clue! There was NO good reason, other than there was an existing work order that was "canceled somehow" and now... get this, I have to wait for a tech to come BACK OUT to reconnect service I just had installed a week prior.
The previous tech's hands were so dirty, he got disgusting prints all on the modem, my newly painted walls, my front door, and outside my house! And left the wires exposed on my lawn! And now a second visit only to get charged another $100? HOW DOES THAT MAKE ANY SENSE? It's unacceptable and quite unethical!
You all are leeches! Your company sucks and is unprincipled, shady, dishonest, and you do everything possible to ensure your customers, loyal ones at that, hate your business!

It took eight hours on the phone and chats to get them to set up already ready to go modem which should have taken 15 minutes. We finally get service the next day and 3 weeks later they "accidentally" shut off our account and we can't get WiFi back till tomorrow.
I was awaken very early this past Saturday morning with a phone notification that a withdrawal had just occurred from my checking account by Comcast/Xfinity without my authorization. I cancelled my service a few days ago on a recorded line and made specific arrangements to pay my last balance in a couple of weeks on my next pay date. I have not been signed up for automatic withdrawal in 7 or 8 months, because I became aware a while back to stay in complete control of my own payments and not to give them access to my account. They made a HUGE mistake and took more than what was in my account, which left me with a negative balance on the weekend and I was stuck with no funds in my account. This also caused insufficient penalty charges and I watched this nightmare grow on my online banking app. The bank was closed and I had to wait until Monday morning to contact my bank and the MS Public Service Commission office. I will keep the details short, but Xfinity learned a very valuable lesson to train their incompetent customer service team and helping themselves to my hard earned salary.
I fought them and they regret touching my private business!
I finally received a call from a supervisor who admitted they made a mistake. They went back and listened to the previous recorded call I made to cancel my service and confirmed NO automatic withdrawals with arrangement to pay the balance on my terms.
Do not let them convince you that you signed up for a one year contract! Cancel you service ASAP and save money and misery by signing up for YouTube Tv or some other option. I went with YouTube tv after checking around and it is easily 1/3 the monthly cost and more channels!
Do not ever give your checking account # out for automatic withdrawals unless it is for city utilities. A year later, you may find they have taken out your balance in as revengeful act because you canceled service. My monthly bill with them was as much as a car payment. There are other options and you will be relieved when you break ties with these thieves!
