I had an appointment couple of days ago with a gentleman named mr.Alexandre N at Westmount branch. I've been a customer for over the past 12 years and never felt that much welcomed. I was always waiting for the moment where someone will really care about me and my financial situation. He is a true professional polite gentleman. I finally understand what is the meaning of getting ready for retirement, how much it is important to save money and how crucial is to accept to be guided. I was about to move all my assets outside of BMO couple of weeks ago and he made me realized how much BMO cares about me and my goals. Thank you mr.Alexandre for this wonderful experience.
The old website was fast, and easy to find information on. The new one, rolled out in the last year, is pathetic. Often it allows you to log in, but then it just sits there when you try to see the contents of individual accounts or (God forbid) try to do a transaction. When one tries "contact us" to ask why it so often does not work, one receives a "blame the victim" response like "Have you tried deleting all cookies and emptying the cache?".
The BMO new online system (2022) crashes almost every time I use it, whether trying to pay bills or transfer money. Very frustrating and a big waste of time. I can understand if it was the first week or two but this has been going on for months. Failing grade BMO. I've been a customer for decades, but time to switch. Your customers time is valuable.
Worst bank I have ever dealt with in my entire life. Their customer service is nonexistent. They held My money hostage in my account on a lost card even when I went to the bank with photo id and another card. They said I had to wait for a new card. It has been over three weeks and have not received it. I once again requested another card and they say they are unable to move my money into my other BMO account until I receive the new card.
Good interphase... great service. Very good and innovative platforms.
I think people should invest more in bitcoin and the government should incorporate more of bitcoin into the society monetary system to aid fast and effective transactions. Platform like BTCPROFITUK, COM help in guiding through the process of btc transactions and even help in save bitcoin investment.

I enjoy doing my banking online however, I couldn't care less about BMO's advertising during my banking sessions. This has been increasing more and more and I am getting really tired of it. Enough already with these invasive ads! There's enough of that crap everywhere we go.
In addition, I'm not a huge fan of the new web interface.
Spent 2 hours on hold, call timed out and just dropped with no answer. Called back to start the process again. In the meantime I dm'd through fb messenger and was given a different ph# and chose the option to have them call me back, only for that person to give me the same ph# to call. The whole process is designed that you will give up in frustration. Incidentally I have used Manulife bank and American Express customer service lines and they actually answer the phone with a real person.
BMO doesn't provide a mortgage lump sum payment tool online while TD has it.
I got to call BMO call center every time and wait more than 45 min every time.
Customer service and user-friendliness...not good. I should have stayed in TD.
My line of credit cheques book has been stolen and i claim at the police division and the stealer admitted that he did it and they are accepting payments from him and after 2 months he stopped paying, they back to me and say you are entitled for this amount. Sound crazy unbelievable why they accepted ******* to pay off as a monthly payment 250 every month and the stealer between their hand and accept to release him how the trust a stealer? And they are asking me back for paying off the stolen money and I do not know how they are accepting 5 cheques without my signature without holding the cheques for verifying and also release 5000 over my limit which is10 thousand. And ended up by asking me for paying ******* and garnish my account. Bad bad bad service specially I am their customer over 15 years.
The story is long-BMO allowed 11,000$ of fraudulent charges (significantly more than my credit limit) to go through on my card in a one hour period at 2am on September 25. I reported them as fraudulent the next day while they were still pending and BMO neither noted the fraud nor did they stop the transactions. BMO has a 4+ hour wait on hold for processing customer service credit card fraud. After spending hours trying to solve this I went to my local branch where the BMO banking representative informed me that BMO doesn't actually do anything with respect to the credit cards it advertises which are signed up for at the branch. BMO is currently holding me responsible for these charges. This is a violation of Canadian banking security
I had an appointment with Dylan Layden this morning... at the branch prospect st Fredericton NB. I would give him 6 stars if that was possible... he went above & beyond to set me up with even a better deal from BMO then what I was asking for.

They close our home equity line of credit ( HELOC)without any reason. We never had a late paiement and our house double in value... If you decide to go with them, have a good lawyer and deep pocket to fight them...
They tell their clients where they can spend their money and do not allow you to purchase things you choose to buy with your money. They block payments they dont agree with
Transparency is the key in business and human dealings, i got *******@gmail.com email, on here thinking that he was one of these fakers but to my surprise he turned out to be the realest i have ever met, i hired him for two different jobs and he did both perfectly. If you are still contacting unethical and fake hackers then you will be a clown after seing me drop this comment about a true hacker. Goodbye
Worst banking experience of my life. Pulling my business. Waited in line over an hour to talk to the one inexperienced teller that was working. Every customer I talked to that was waiting inline was pissed
Evey time the system crashes I have to reset. And it takes multiple tries my password and card number but I cant use my old password and my card is not recognized. I am frustrated and done. PC or ATB

I am experiencing racism at the branch level with the branch manager unexcusably witholding my inheritance check much longer than required 30 days. It's painful my grandfather died and the bank is ripping that wound open again and again all because I'm white. It's terrible experiencing racism and mistreatment at a bank.
