Question:

Answer:

I was sent a message on May 29th alerting me of my suspension, with no explanation, only that they would be sending an email explaining why. I sent an email to their help desk explaining I was a long time member with thousands of posts, none of which I considered to be against their policy. They acknowledged my email and said I'd get a reply shortly. I have not heard back nor do I expect to. This is not the first time this has happened and I have learned my lesson. They have no regard for their members and their customer service is nonexistent. Never again!

My account was just suspended because they said I had saved inappropriate material. This is such a Nazi tactic setting people up for failure.

Question:

Why have my descriptions disappeared from under all my pins? i rely on these for my own use!

Answer:

They have changed the format and fields used to display your created Pins. You now only have a title, about (only 50 characters are displayed and a note field that only you can see. I'm a bit upset at this change since it changed how older Pins are displayed to the point that it makes the creator look incompetent. Most end up with a truncated caption that no longer makes sense at all.

Question:

Pinterest seems to be focused on 20-40 year old females, those that know relatively nothing of homemaking, cooking, etc... as a 50+ year old female, what is this app doing for baby boomers? sorry, i would have to say you stink. please consider this age group... we need information on health, wellness, exercise, advanced cooking skills, and info on aging gracefully. i am sick of your daisy duke photos for my petite frame. get real or get off the web?

Answer:

Are you using the search bar for your own interests? I would start there. Yes i agree pinterest is out of touch with its users big time. You are definitely not alone in feeling that. But the more you choose what interests you or use the search with keywords, the more it will probably bombard you with things you have it some reason to send you. LOL. As if they should be doing that in the first place! I think a few sites have gone off the deep end with trying things on us that are thier fun and games but have no relevance to us at all. They also try to over control everything we see or do on the site. That's a very bad omen for them. It's a sign of pathology and a tyrannical off thier rocker mindset. Tyrants and control freaks LOVE websites so they can have a captive set of people ( registered users) who they can lord it over in their own insane draconian way, that isn't any help to us but the opposite. It's a pain in the arse.
