This is the most useless website with a reasonable number of cons including the so called writers' managers and billing department. They stole my money and they never paid me. May you continue fail with that foolish website of yours. None sense!

I am actually a freelance writer/translator with more than 12 years of experience in the field. As I understand it, WritingCreek offers work even to those who are only beginning their careers or speakers of other languages. The test was very easy. I have a CPE certificate and I found it to be quite simple. But they turned down my essay because of 'undisclosed reasons.' Really? You claim you're friendly and don't discriminate, yet turn down someone from another country even if their essay is brilliant? Get off your high horse.

Worked as a freelancer in this platform. Very unprofessional, support team cannot even assist in simple things, they keep referring to account manager. Recently introduced another thing called composite score. That thing sucks, imagine finishing more than 200 tasks but score keeps declining. How can you rank writers who have worked for years on the same rank with beginners? The older writers are disadvantaged because of metrics such as reassign rate, cancellation rate, plagiarism rate etc. I think there should be a better metric. Another thing, these people charge very high but give writers of peanuts. For example, a client pays $120 and the writer will get $15. To make the matter worse, a small mistake and you will be fined. They thrive in making writers slaves with little pay. Very poor
The funds are held for 14 days. I dont think holding funds for 14 days really helps because in my entire 2years i did not encounter refunds. Why dont they make it 7 days or even 3,? They have also started another thing called bid per order. Very sucking, they make writers do much work for little pay.
I would propose that: they do away with composite score, reduce holding period, and increase pay for writers, you cannot charge 150 to give writer 20. It is not fair at all.

Result of application took a month to get a result. Then, another 1-2 weeks for verification. The hiring manager is very slow in replying. It would take a week or two unless you bombard them with emails. They will ask you for documents then selfies holding those documents, plus a verification call. If you were not able to answer it once, they will decline your application without giving another chance to answer the call. Efforts of passing the tests and sending them the required documents will become useless because of not being able to answer the "once in a lifetime call".
I hope you improve in responding to emails. Don't just collect documents from us then you will decline the application.

However, I believe it has something to do with the writer's level in the company. All in all, if you are a talented individual willing to freelance, Writingcreek is where you should be.

I applied to this platform on 5th July and cleared the tests in one go. The waiting period was extending beyond the initially expected line. At every stage, I chatted with their customer service. Unfortunately, received an email that I did not make it. I do hope to join them in the future for the simple reason that they have always been courteous and professional. Makes me wonder, if they are so good before joining them, how good the experience will be once a person joins them.

I have recently started my writing career with these guys, and so far - I'm loving it! I have to mention that they have the sweetest managers in my life. The mentor is kind and friendly; we are always in touch with her. She helped me with my first steps, shared the guides, and even sent me a congratulation email when I win the first order. I feel 100% valued even though I don't have much experience. I was also surprised by the option to set your own bid per page.

There is someone (Faisal Khan) *******182 in Pakistan claiming to work for Writing Creek and he's just scamming people taking the money from them and not hiring them not giving their money back, and on top of that he just started cussing at me. I also want to know if there is any policy that asks you to submit 5 USD to get registered and almost 20-50 to get the work. For anyone wondering that 5 USD isn't even that much why is she making a scene, the only thing I want to say is that I'm from Pakistan and that amount of money can feed a family for a month in Pakistan. That's how we live and I want my money back.

There is person in Pakistan Named Faisal khan, maybe it's his fake name but he said that he's the only manager in Pakistan of writing creek, he took 10,000 pkr from me, saying that it is to activate ur account and for the work package etc etc, he even gave me work, I gave him the assignments but as soon as I transferred the remaining money he blocked me immediately, I tried to contact him from different numbers but he cursed at me,I would suggest to not work with this company to save your time and money, I'm giving out his number so stay safe ( that bastards contact no:*******398)

Don't ever rely on this website. I am using other website like writerbay and sweetstudy but this website is worst. Have done 46 orders with 5 stars with no fines. They restrict my account on 13 march and reply me on 12th april stating that i have done any suspicious activity. They said that my account is used from different Ip from different countries but the account is sorely used by me. Totally disappointed. Waste my effort of 1 month and lose my account without doing anything wrong. Don't rely on them if you looking for a long term work. They will restrict your account with no valid proof.

The questions meant for evaluation are always similar... I tried to open an account. I passed one but with similar answers I failed...! The reason... IP addresses were different. One from Canada other one Congo. I failed the test of the one from Congo. Let me not speculate... but I see danger. I used to here about the same from people and decided to take a trial... I can't do the essay because I know they will fail me because I confronted them on the same... the first test was a pass the other one I got "0" crap!

I am a writer with more than 7 years of working experience. I love working with Writing Creek and the consistent orders make it a wonderful experience. While I was researching before joining the platform, I was little hesitant, but now its more than 6 months and I am enjoying writing for them.
