I sat on my ring for years, not knowing with to do with it. I couldn't hand it down to my kids because it's cursed (ex-husband turned out to be a very bad man). But I knew re-selling it wasn't likely to bring much money. Eventually I got sick of having it and decided I'd take whatever I can get. I saw Worthy ads and checked out their BBB profile, and decided I would go for it with them. The whole process was simple, and they kept me informed every step of the way. It was exciting receiving the updates on what was happening. The hardest part was once it went up for auction-I was obsessed with seeing the bids in real time (pro-tip, the bids likely won't be great until the final day of the auction, so hang in there). But I ended up getting a lot more than thought I could. It's actually the equivalent to about 4 child support payments-comes in handy since my ex is over a year behind in payments.
So long story short, I never imagined I'd have to sell my beloved engagement ring to make up for missed child support payments. But I'm so glad I did! The weight of having that cursed token in my house is gone.

Tried to get me to sell my $3500 engagement ring to them for $365! Not to mention there is a 18% fee on top of this so I would only get $299 total! That's not even 8% value yet they said 298 were "interested" in it….stay away!

If we have correctly located your account, we do see your auction ended earlier today. Unfortunately the auction was not successful however our team will be more than happy to prepare the complimentary return of your jewelry to you without hesitation.
In reference to your concern with our Seller Success Fee, we do charge a flat fee, respective to the final sale amount, however this is only charged when an item successfully sells. If the auction is not successful, the services we provided including the fully insured shipment to and from our office are 100% complimentary.
As a reminder, the other services we provided to you included professional cleaning, photography, and independent third-party grading at the GIA for your jewelry. We only succeed when you do which is why we're motivated to set your auction up for success to the over 1,000 professional buyers that make up our buyer network.
It is important to note there is a notable difference between the original retail price of jewelry and the amount you may receive in a resale market. To ensure you walk away satisfied from any potential sale through our auction platform, you were given complete control of setting your auction's reserve at the minimum amount you felt comfortable selling your jewelry for. We share your disappointment in the outcome of the auction however we do hope the prompt and expert services we have provided you since receiving your jewelry on the 14th of June can be taken into consideration.
