I have been playing this game for several years. I tried to purchase the add free version but it is no longer available. The adds have always been there. However, the frequency and length of the adds continues to grow and it is now excessive, especially Royal Match. I have recently checked my downloads and their adds are now extremely intrusive. Also, they now have more and more words where they claim they are valid Words With Friends words with no explanations. Many do not appear in major conventional dictionaries. I recently checked my downloads and WWF adds account for thirty per cent of my downloads over the last several months. Btw, I have never bought anything from their adds ever. I only play the game with one vert close relative. It's time to look for something with less or no adds and remove the app.

The ads. My God, the ads...it's miserable. If only my friends would pick a different game. Used to be my go-to game to relax and unwind, now it's just a burden to play.

I've been playing for more than 10 years and am becoming more and more frustrated with the game. The WORDMASTERS use words from around the world that even a Rhodes Scholar wouldn't know. And the game is not FREE unless you want to watch a 30 second commercial after every word you play.
I have always loved SCRABBLE and now I play to keep my brain sharp…pushing 80.

I get that the Words folks wanted to add ways to make money but this is a joke. The screens are busy and there is way too much content not related to the actual game. Also, it encourages cheating. Now I know why people come up with obscure words. I have played with the same couple of people for years. Recently you changed my game to "2". I can't stand it.

I really enjoy this game but there's way too many ads. It's got worse and is so irritating. Too greedy!

Who in the world changed the original/classic WWF to WWF2? I have SO MANY complaints! … scores too small, scores too dim, too many steps to send a chat, WWF2 doesn't show the word played, can't get rid of a "stranger" playing… I can go on and on!
PLEASE PLEASE go back to the classic. An idiot messed up the game!

Don't like this new version of words with friends 2. My favorite solo game is not here. Why stay here.

Right from the beginning when you are treated to what looks like a toddler's cartoon, the new and improved version is a disaster. Yes, there are a gazillion ads, and the game is slowed because of their frequency, but my biggest frustration is losing all of the players and games I had an investment in. They just disappeared. Some of them I have been playing for years. I tried to reestablish contact, but the site no longer recognizes the original game names of the players. Then come to find out that my own game name has been changed so that even if they wanted to reestablish contact on their end they couldn't. WWF has been part of my daily routine for years and I miss it. Your "new and improved" version is horrible. Whoever had this brainstorm to change what was fun and engrossing and turn it into this joke of a game should be fired.

I would prefer to pay for this game than undergo the endless 'claim this' and 'win that'. I tried to edit my profile, change from the 'zynga xyz' I was given, only to be told that the player name I've been using for 10+ years already exists! Very disappointing!

Play is slower. Tile placement is less reliable. But, most of all, it inundates us with "opportunities" for weird features that either take time to understand and are neither interesting nor challenging and, often yield additional player cost for minimal value. You've taken a good, reliable pastime and turned it into something I'm not likely to continue. Way too much change for Compsny benefit with less player satisfaction. Back it down, please.

Since last update, game slower, points don't update, chats don't update, sometimes for 24 hours unless you delete and reinstall app. It's pathetic. It's not only the game with ads, my friend has ad free, same issues. "Help and support!" No help at all. Give it a miss

My mom and I have been playing since 2007 and every update comes more problems. I've contacted them with no resolve. They play words that their dictionary says its a word but does NOT give a definition. Now the ads will play 2 ads only get credit for 1. And I am not able to X out of those ads, I need to close the game and get back on it to continue to play. It takes so much more time to load in the beginning and they make the credits harder to achieve with every update. You just lost 2 faithful players. It's NOT WORTH the hassle to play this game any longer. I DON'T recommend installing this game.

My friend's husband's name is D...K. WWF censored me for using his name. I have written to Zynga at least twice. They refuse to remove the censor status claiming: "While the game as no current option on how the chat works to prevent misuse, I appreciate you raising these reports regarding your feedback. Your report will help ensure we are giving the best gaming experience."
