I ordered a book from WOB using their website, it was, as usual, a trouble free experience. The order was immediately confirmed and then I was later informed that it had been dispatched, The book was packed well and in very good condition, as new in fact.
Have used the company before, will use again and have recommended them to friends.

All the books I have ordered from WOB have been in excellent condition, some are obviously brand new. I buy fiction books and rarely pay over £5 for a book. Postage is free and books usually arrive pretty promptly.
I ordered from WoB already twice and always had a great experience. They have a huge collection of books I can almost all the time find what I want and in good condition and prices. Because of corona the deliveries are getting a bit delayed but that it something that they announce since the beginning of one's purchase. I really like the WoB and recommend it to everyone who likes second hand books :)

Very pleased with this purchase. The book is in very good condition both the spine, covers back and front. The pages have not been turned down or have any writings or underlines in them. This book has been very well looked after. Delivery very quick and books packed well. Price very reasonable as well. Thank you WoB for great service.

I was sent an uncorrected advance copy of a book, which clearly said inside that it must not be sold. Wob said I could return it but would not refund the postage. I complained about this but have not had a reply. In addition, I did not think the book was accurately described as in Very Good condition.

I am saddened to read the negative reviews because my experience has been completely different. I have made multiple purchases over the last 4-5 years, mainly of hard-to-get rare books. The books have represented good value, there is frequently a discount for multiple purchases and the postage is free.
Books have been as described. They are my go-to place for rare books.

This is my go-to site for book shopping! I prefer to buy pre-loved and WOB books are always in perfectly acceptable condition for me and at great prices even without your bulk discounts! And delivery is always super prompt.

I order 25 books from World of Books through Amazon. I only received 15 but they are telling Amazon they shipped me 15. I reached out to them on 8/23/2021 via a message on their website since a phone # is not provided. I finally received a response on 8/30/2021 saying they are looking into it. It's over a week!

Placed order. Book never arrived even though website had it recorded as delivered. I emailed WoB to say this. They responded - late - to say that it had been delivered and, in essence, it was now down to me if it had been delivered to the wrong address.
I had forgotten that I had had problems with non-delivery and getting a refund from WoB before.
Won't be using them again. They are good when everything is fine but terrible when things go wrong. And that's far good enough with so many options for second hand book buyers available.

Accepted me order and then marked it shipped. A week later as I'm waiting the book to arrive I get an email from them telling me they never shipped the book because it got damaged. Then wants to know if I want a refund! This is a total Scam outfit. Takes your money and doesn't send the book. Then suggests they keep your money. It doesn't get worse than this. Steer clear of this scam outfit.

Shame that I can't say the same about the Royal Mail, who 'delivered' my parcel by leaving it outside and exposed to the elements. They even took a photo of the 'delivered' parcel and sent it to me as proof of 'delivery'. Consequently all of the books in the parcel became rain-sodden, soaked through and unreadable. Such a shame as some of them are quite rare, and I have looked for them for a while. Please investigate using another delivery company, although they are probably all the same.

I didn't receive the book and only came to that they canceled the order when I emailed them 15 days after I placed the order. TIll date the order status, on the website, is confirmed
I don't even think I received a full refund for my order(there was a $7 difference).
