This was unbelievably terrible room for a Wyndham. It's like you purchased a motel 6, did nothing to it and slapped your name on it. The carpet was flat out disgusting, shelf was lopsided, chair was ripped and dirty, honestly I would have never thought that about your operation. However I will be considering that in my future.

Misleading
November 3, 2021

I recently called Wyndham to make a booking in the Bronx, NY. Although the hotel advertises as Wingate by Wyndham, it was not registered under Wyndham and I could not use points to book. The hotel is actually called Haven of the Bronx. The alarm went off at various times in the wee hours of the mornings. The rooms were ultra small and the set up was inconvenient. There was no mirror or counter in the bathroom and the shower stall was as big as an old telephone booth! The bathroom was next to the front door! Anyone standing in the hallway could hear what was going on in the bathroom. There was no chair and the room was inconvenient for the elderly. There was no table. This was during COVID in NYC but I was the only person walking through the hotel with a mask, even though the signs said to wear one! The stay was unsafe and not worth the money.

Budget stay

I found my stay from this website as economical and true to the money spent on this. The services provided were nice and most of all the food served was tasty.

Reservation booked thru Booking.com for 4 nights, credit card charged $748.16. Due to change of circumstances needed to re-schedule, not cancel reservation. Called hotel no re-scheduling allowed full amount charged, Hotel policy. In order to re-schedule another $748.16 required. Booking.com says they have no control and point finger back at hotel. Granted fee was non-refundable BUT this was only for a re-scheduling of dates well a month in advance. BEWARE AND IF YOU DO BOOK DON'T CHANGE YOUR PLANS OR EXPECT ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
