Claim Your BusinessBid on 2 bottles with some concern due to the negative reviews and low site rating. Following lot win, the process post auction was slightly more involved than other auction sites due to the use of third party company for shipping (wound up thru FedEx). Wine was received on date promised - perfectly intact with bottles appearing without issue. Overall - no complaints with my transaction. I have to give an overall positive review to WineBid
Purchased a 2004 Leoville Las cases on their site they sent me a completely different bottle of wine and now tell me they never had the correct bottle that was pictured on their website and they offered me the ability to keep the one they sent me for full price or they will send me a shipping label and hold my funds until I return the other one. The customer service rep made me feel like it was my fault somehow and they don't need to take any responsibility for their screw ups. Never again.

I have had only a single (last!) experience with WineBid, buying from a couple of auctions and then arranging "temperature controlled" shipping.
The issue is that the wine came A WEEK EARLIER than they indicated when arranging shipping! Early is good, right? Not when you're out of the country and arranged a shipping date based on when they told me it would arrive.
I emailed them and it took DAYS to get a response while the wine sat in a hot warehouse baking. I asked for a refund and they said no because "the wine arrived when expected" except -- (i) the wine never arrived (it was undelivered and returned to sender), and (ii) it was expected a WEEK LATER.
"Molly" of customer service was neither understanding nor polite.
Some of the wine in the shipment was 50 years old so shipping conditions and timeliness matter. But apparently those things (and customers) don't matter much to Wine Bid.
Tip for consumers:
Don't do it!
I have to give this 5 stars! It taste so smooth and so much better than the wines I've ever drank. I will be ordering my wine from here for now on! Great taste!
I Love It They Have Great Selection Of Wine, Great Value And Good Reputation, Good Services, I Enjoing A Lot
I bid and won a bottle of 2011 Justin Isosceles. Paid price+premium for it, and shipping, never received the wine. They never even refunded me. Since then I have not bid on anything at Winebid.com. Besides by the time you are all done it is more expensive than retail.
Tip for consumers:
This is a site that does disservice to the wine industry.
Products used:
Wine of course
They hold your money after bid is over. Most of the wines are off condition and even undrinkable, They accept no criticism!
