They canceled half my order because they were out of stock. That was 2 weeks ago. And then and as of right now, their webpage still shows the very items are "In Stock".

I made a purchase of Paramount Nozzle With Nozzle Caps, Beige | *******060-07 from www.wildwestpoolsupplies.com. About 2 days later, they sent me an email stating that they were sorry that the term was discontinued. Rather than making the refund, the wanted me to buy a "similar" item. I declined their suggestion and just wanted my refund back. 3 days passed there is absolutely no response from them.
Yet the "discontuned" item is still in their website:

Needed a pump for my sundance in a hurry. Tried to order it many places with no luck so wasn't surprised when it was out of stock here, however, unlike the other companies I tried, they responded with an alternative option. We traded emails on a Friday night and Saturday with questions I had, and then we ordered it. Instead of having the original order canceled and having to redo it, they sent me a link to pay the slight upcharge for the pump which took 1 minute to respond. Can't beat that for service and response. Gut the pump in 4 days.
I order so light parts for my pool. I placed the order and even when they knew they did not have the parts. They blamed the manufacturers for not producing the parts. I waited about a month nothing but excused. I went to partswarehouse.com bought the same kit cheaper and they sent it out within 1 day. I will NEVER order anything from them.
I placed an order for an item I needed. I received a confirmation over the weekend and then first thing on Monday morning I received an email stating the item was on backorder for 3-4 weeks. They immediately gave me an alternative product that cost a few dollars more but was available for shipping immediately. We took that offering and received the product within a few days. Great customer service! Thank you!
I paid for 2/4 days shipping. It took a week to get my part. I wanted to install this part before I left my Condo I could not wait the extra days so I had to pay someone $390 to install this part. Very disappointed!

Wild West Pool Supplies are wild west BANDITS! Do not let them scam you. They advertised a chlorinator online WITH a 12-month salt cell for $659. After emailing the company to confirm stock and getting a very well written response in perfect english, I placed the order. Four hours later they claim there was a problem processing my order and they can offer me a different part for $58 more. Turned out to be the same part I ordered. RED FLAG ALERT! They told then told me the salt cell was NOT included and it was $400 more! They claim the website wasn't updated in time for their inventory or some BS they tried to make it sound real technical. I told them I wanted the advertised products for the advertised price. They said no. I cancelled the order immediately and called my credit card company. UPDATE: It's two weeks later and they are STILL advertising the same SCAM. Search for Hayward Salt & Swim 3C to see for yourself.
Hi Matt, I'm truly sorry for the trouble here. We are doing some work on our catalog (merging information from different vendors we work with) and there's been some issues — in this case, we had the incorrect information about the product listed. We will absolutely make it work wherever we can in terms of order issues, but we cannot send out a free salt-cell.
That issue has since been corrected — I do hope you'll come back and give us another shot. But, again, I do apologize for the trouble here.
Parts where shipped the same day arrived very quickly. The Grundfos circulating 1" pump does have a flaw the small drain plug on the inlet side leaks. You have to remove plug and thread seal plug. I purchased this pump about 10 years ago and it had the same issue. You would of though Grundfos would of have fixed it by now. I installed pump did not remember about plug leaking until I started it. Had to remove pump seal it and reinstall.
The Caretaker valve for my pool cleaning system needed rebuilt. Only the five pistons needed replaced. Wild West offered just such a kit at a considerably lower price than the full rebuild kits available from several sources. After I placed the order, Wild West advised me the kit I ordered was no longer available and I could revise the order to the full rebuild kit for an upcharge. I did so. Even at the upcharged cost, it was still less than some other sources. Wild West kept me well advised of the order throughout the process. The only confusion was the revised order showed to original cost and not the upcharged cost. In any event, the entire process was quick and Wild West was very communicative throughout. I'm happy.
I thank those people are a bunch of thieves I placed an order almost a month ago I still don't receive my order and there's no phone number to contact them and when you go on PayPal on their links to file a claim you always redirected to some other crap websites
Thank you for carrying parts for older pool equipment. The only miss was a live person to help me verify item was available and took days more without a phone contact. Item arrived as requested.

In service of transparency: all the large shipping vendors (UPS, FedEx, USPS) are changes rates like mad right now — this is causing chaos with a lot of their partners downstream, and for us, it affects the way our rates are calculated/served up on our site.
You're correct that you shouldn't need to worry about any of that — that's our job. It is fixed in most instances now, and should be entirely within a few weeks. Thank you for being a customer, and again, I sincerely apologize for the trouble here.
We placed an order with Wild West Pool Supplies and received our items in less than a week. The new gray skimmer trim covers were a huge improvement over the original white (turned yellow) ones!

This pool part was just what I needed to get my water temperature reading again. It corrected the ERR 1 that was showing on my indoor control panel.
I bought an bulkhead tool for a fraction of what other companies wanted. I will be ordering from this company again when I need something. Good job Wild West!

Hi Dave, I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience here. Our system checks inventory levels against all our distribution partners (over 100,000 SKUs) every morning to update our website — this method is about 97% accurate.
Occasionally we do see popular parts sell out in between the time inventory is checked in the morning and when the order is placed.
