I signed up (paying subscription) and then I was hit with a white screen and couldn't do anything. I had to contact support and they give me a long list of troubleshooting issues for the "white screen" so they are well aware of this issue, but instead of fixing it, they want the customer to perform all these extra actions to use a service paid for. I finally ended up using a different browser cause Google Chrome wasn't working, and after all that time wasted, the receiver of the file I sent wasn't able the receive the file due to another error. What a complete waste of time. Avoid this site.
I use wetransfer pretty often. Their service is reliable. If you need a larger storage, I definitely recommend upgradint to premium. They even have one year free premium membership for students, which is amazing.
I tried the free version. I had three files each about 450 gigs in size. Each file took almost all day to download. I took me a day and a half to do a 20 or 30 minute project. I' ll never use it again,
After my trip to Blue Lagoon I was sent photos via wetransfer from the staff at the resort. I downloaded the zip file link thinking it was good, that is until I got home from my trip to find the link expired and download corrupt. Now the photos are permanently gone thanks to wetransfer. Not happy.
WeTransfer has the absolute worst Support ever. I would definitely not recommend them. I will be requesting a refund and going to another service. WeTransfer Support could not fix my logo appearing incorrectly when a recipient receives an email. Was told by one rep that this was a known issue and was being fixed. Total BS! Nothing was done. This was said just to close my support ticket. These reps at WeTransfer could CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMERS.
Absolutely horrible company! Do not ever pay for this service! It doesn't work! Transfers never go through and you cannot get ahold of anyone for support. I have been trying to get a refund for weeks and have had no support and just given a run a round. I would never ever recommend this company!
I was able to send a bunch of photos with WeTransfer. But when I tried to send some videos, the upload just got slower and slower. I tried letting it run overnight but it never finished uploading. I know the problem is not with my Internet connection as the files were not that large.
The other thing I noticed: It does not seem to be able to resume if you cancel an upload and try to restart it. I can't imagine paying for their service if they can't even get their basic uploads to work.
I'm only reviewing the free portion of this product. I use it on occasion to transfer large video files. What can I say? It is simple, it works great for me when I upload files, it works great for the folks who need to download my file. Great job Wetransfer.
It was great until you upgrade then decide to go back to free and they don't let you, start stopping your uploads keep putting up error message and wanting you to upgrade. Bate and Switch full on. Scam!
I just tried to sign into my Pro Account which, ironically, I was just billed $120,10 days ago.
When I try to log in my password is not accepted so I tried to rest it. I've requested the password rest link 6 times and gotten nothing. In trying to fix this problem, I looked at the Help section where I discovered there is NO PHONE SUPPORT and after trying to use their email support, I discover doesn't exist either. In an effort to send an email, I am put into a loop of questions that is circular and never takes me outside of the matrix of prescribed questions which ends with a link to request an email for a password reset which I never receive. Kafkaesque!
My husband has used WeTranfer because I had recommended it years ago. I am getting ready to cancel it because it is useless if I can't recover my ability to log in.
I'm a computer scientist by profession and usually we have to share folders having ". Exe" and coding related files which Gmail Wont all us to do. This is the best and reliable site where we can upload upto 2 GB data and in return a link is generated. We can simple share that particular link with the person we want to share data and he/she can downlaod the files. What a superb site
WeTransfer.com is pretty much the best resource I've used for transferring large graphic and video files via the internet. The basic service is FREE TO USE and you can transfer up to 2 GB of file(s). Smooth operation and upload/download times will vary based upon the speed of your connection.
These people won't return an email. They give you ZERO customer SERVICE. I have a pro account. Need help and they have no #s to call or they keep sending you to the webpage for zero assistance that loops you over and over.
This website is one of the best websites I have used to transfer data quickly. The free version can support up to 2GB each run, which works out nicely to transfer pictures or videos.
This service is absolutely horrendous, not only during the upload files aren't coming up individually, you have to wait for all the transfer to be complete to see it but on top or that, in my experience, every fifth upload is getting stuck! I read their explanation you shouldn't edit or tanper with files while uploading, you should zip them up etc… I did all that yet still on average every fifth one is just getting stuck… and you have to start the process from the scratch… I can't rely on that it's unacceptable. Also the same problem was happening around 2y ago when I did try it for the first time, I came back to it recently to see if they fixed it and… NOPE, zero updates it still keeps getting stuck… Do yourself a favour and don't use WeTransfer
Very strange case for me. It is a company that people use most of the time for sending big files. I have had a problem with my works E-mail address for a long time, for not receiving the E-mail notifications from WeTransfer site. Causes problems between me and the clients, cause I have no idea that something has been sent to me. What I think is the most strangest thing is that our company logs show that all WeTransfer E-mails have been delivered, and no E-mails have never been sent to my E-mail address. Where they never sent to me, that is the question I tried to ask the company several times by E-mail, but never got one singe answer from them. However, something is very strange indeed. It is a pitty that so many of our clients use this company. I always need to assure with them if the advertising material was sent or not, and it is very frustrating..
Sharing file of more than gb is fine but sometimes when we transfer a file that is less than 1 gb counts wrong its count minus its is timewasting for small files

Needed to transfer comparably big amount of data and was really satisfied with how WeTransfer works. Will definitely use it again in the future.
