I might have been willing to pay for the information they provide. But they waste a lot of your time, sucking you in with lies. They claim they will provide information and make you wade through page after page of nonsense. Eventually they say they just need your email address and then they will give you the report. A total lie. At that point they demand money.

As I say, they may have a useful service worth paying for. But I don't want to encourage such dishonest behavior.

I scanned my documents on a high quality scanner. I answered all their stupid questions. But then they said I still needed a live agent to verify me. No explanation why. It took days for them to get around to getting back to me. And then I had to wait on hold for almost two hours. That was after I was finally at the head of the line! And what did this guy do? Asked me to hold up my documents to my crappy web camera! There is no excuse for this, other than that you have no choice if you need to connect to the IRS web site.

I was able to send a bunch of photos with WeTransfer. But when I tried to send some videos, the upload just got slower and slower. I tried letting it run overnight but it never finished uploading. I know the problem is not with my Internet connection as the files were not that large.

The other thing I noticed: It does not seem to be able to resume if you cancel an upload and try to restart it. I can't imagine paying for their service if they can't even get their basic uploads to work.

Its ratings seem overly optimistic. But here is what really worries me: You can't back up out of its page! If you get to their page from a Google search, you can't use the Back button to get back to the Google search. That is scary!
