Purchased a holster for my S&W M&P Shield. The holster itself is good quality, but that is where the praise ends. Shipping took WAY too long. I ordered my holster with the claw, which they do not attach. Their excuse is they do this so you can customize the holster to your liking. This is both asinine and lazy because if I can install the holster, I can also easily adjust an accessory that is always attached. The claw is a single point attachment, which does not get a vote of confidence from me, and when I received my claw in a sealed package it was missing parts. Getting replacement parts has been difficult. Hell, getting a timely response from customer service is harder than counting a hen's teeth. Steer clear of this lackluster company!
Alright, do I ordered a shirt that was supposed to be $10 and ended up being over $20 and got another charge for over $10. So I immediately contacted We The People Holsters about it and they said if my orders hasn't shipped yet they'll be able to process my refund. So I assured them that it hasn't been processing yet. I literally contacted them within minutes of the charges hitting my bank. It's been almost 2 months and I still haven't received my refund. Everytime I contact them. All I get is it's been processed and a different department is handling it. But they won't get me in touch with said department. I'm actually being generous giving them 2 stars.
Don't wanna waste my time, but I will not purchase anything from these guys. I placed a big order, then added mystery shirts which are pictured in BLACK in a few places on their website & on my Purchase Receipt... Called them about 10 times (no return call) to tell them I was dissatisfied. They could give a BLEEP. They told me tough luck. I have spent a lot my hard earned money with these people... Never again... No more of my dinero... They are probably owned by an offshore company... Be careful, sooner or later you will get burned by them
These are great holsters at an affordable price. I have 5 or 6 holsters from them and they are all consistent in quality, form and retention. I've never had a belt clip break or kydex crack. I carry their holster almost daily and regularly loan them to my shooting students without issue. And their gun belt, for that style, is an excellent belt. Very sturdy and comfortable to wear even when not carrying.
I ordered December 1 for Christmas. A week before Christmas still wasn't sent. The lady on the phone Angela was rude and hung up on me when I said to just cancel my order. I just checked site again Dec 28, Items still not sent but they said it was canceled threw messages. We will see. I left a 1 star review on their 5 star site. When I submitted it said "Your review was sent successfully and is now waiting for our staff to publish it." So I am sure my 1 star ratting will not be published.
I'm not here to trash this company but to make sure customers know of a serious problem with one of the IWB holster for a Springfield XD 40 cal sub compact. The fit is perfect. The comfort level wearing it is excellent. Only one problem if you need to go to the restroom and drop your pants the pistol will fallout. Even running it will comeout. And tightening the one screw on it will not solve this extremely dangerous problem. I own a leather holster for my Glock 43x that is the best holsters I own. So this isn't the entire line they sell. But if my 40 cal had accidentally discharged I would probably not be alive today inorder to alert customers of theirs of this defect.
I got what I ordered within one week. I ordered a Falcon velcro belt black in color. The packaging looks nice, too. Suitable gift item.
Purchased an IWB holster for my Springfield Atmory Hellcat RFP.
The good: Fits well, good retention. The holster itself is good quality. The belt attachment offers some degree of adjustment as needed. I'm a bit concerned how long the belt clip will last - but Amazon has every kind of belt clip one could want, and I'm about to start making Kydex holsters (it's not complicated YouTube is your friend).
The bad: Shipping took forever (1 month to the day), which is apparently the norm for WTP, although their website promises two weeks at the longest.
Customer service is a joke. I couldn't get anyone to answer the phone at WTP, so I sent an email. The author of the reply was very curt and clearly annoyed. When I sent the info to identify my order, the reply provided absolutely no useful or order-specific information and instead was a very general, apparently stock reply. "We regret… overwhelming amount of orders… should ship soon… please be patient" etc.
I paid the extra money to have my holster made in the Texas flag design. Quality control is lacking - it shouldn't be too difficult to center the flag design to capture the star in the Texas flag so that it can be identified as the Texas flag. On mine, two tiny points of the star can be seen on the back side of the holster. One side is white, the other blue. Maybe it's the Chilean flag, maybe it's the Texas flag, might just be some spare red, white & blue kydex they had lying around.
Overall, decent holster. Shipping, customer service terrible. Quality control - nonexistent. Constant bombardment of 2-3 emails every day advertising WTP's products - highly annoying.
Will I be a WTP customer for life? Don't count on it.
I could go on for days but i'm going to keep this short. I live in ohio. I ordered a holster from them that they said was made in texas. After waiting for it to be made and then waiting days for it to be shipped. I then watch it get shipped to California. It stays there for nearly a week. I have tried to get answers on why it's taking so long. And why it would be shipped to california before ohio. I, of course, inquired about what was taking so long But I of course got no reply. I guess why would they reply? They already got my money...ffs
WTP Claims to have excellent customer service. However I have not received that. I originally contacted them about a recently purchased holster and was told one the first call it (the holster) would probably need to be replaced. Now multiple phone calls, 14 emails and 12 replies 10 with pictures (more than a dozen altogether). They are still asking for more pictures. It appears that they don't intend to rectify the problem.
Their website states that you can cancel an order within 24 hours. Well, I cancelled an order a couple hours after placing it. Instead of cancelling the order, they rapidly processed it and shipped it out. I emailed them stating that I had cancelled the order and was told to go ahead and do a return for refund. I did not open the item packaging when I received it, did a return/refund request and emailed them that I expected a FULL refund, and I should not be charged a restocking fee, as it was not my fault that they did not cancel the order, and that it does not cost almost $4 to put an unopened item back on the shelf. Guess what. Just got my refund. They charged me return shipping and a restocking fee. These people are basically out to steal your money.
I ordered an IWB leather holster on April 22. According to WTPH "tracking", it arrived in Houston on April 27, and was supposed to transfer from DHL to USPS. As of today, May 12, I do not have a holster; USPS & DHL are pointing fingers (and neither can provide tracking updates).
Six emails and two unanswered calls to WTPH have been made with NO response.
Fortunately, I make the majority of purchases of this nature using my AMEX. AMEX is first class in taking care of its customers. I provided the information, and AMEX immediately credited a refund to my card while they deal with WTPH.
Additionally, I filed a complaint with the BBB. It seems that my experience is a common one with this "business".

I did not expect anything of amazing quality from this company, I own many holsters for different purposes, both high/not so high quality/$ and in this case I just wanted a cheap kydex shell to keep a pistol in my truck console. WTPH had the cheapest I could find online. What I wish I had known was that the processing/shipping times are a joke and so is the customer service. I don't know who's writing the reviews on their website, they're all 5 star and yet somehow I was never offered an opportunity to post one about my purchase. I ordered my holster on 12/12/22, it said 14 business day processing time, so when I hadn't received an update on 1/6/23 I emailed customer service. I got a reply 3 days later saying they were experiencing "unexpectedly high demand". The holster was finally delivered 1/18/23. Technically I received what I paid for and am satisfied with what I got for the price but wow their service and lead times are a freaking joke, total amateur hour.
I ordered a shirt,after receiving an email confirmation I received another email that said my order had been updated an a shirt added,wrong size also. This was done without my input or permission.
Have bought a few things from them, largely because they claim to be made in the USA. The holster has broken twice, scuffs the gun, and they refuse to warranty it the second time -- when it broke within the same year. Instead, send a link to 'order the parts.' Their items are supposed to be made for daily carry but they don't hold up to it.
I try this company and never again is too much trouble and complications. I wait for my holster for 22 days and I live in Virginia not in Hawaii or someplace like that. The holster was decent for the price but never again. I prefer other companies or my local gun shop and prevent headaches.
Crap shipping. I ordered a shirt a month in advance to get it in time for Christmas. Terrible communication on shipping and I still do not have the shirt and won't have it in time for Christmas. In this day in age, nothing in stock should take a month to ship. I have ordered things overseas that took less time ship. Incredibly disappointed and will not order from this company again.
100% scamming people by waiting months to Processing and shipping its been well over a month and they will not ship and will not refund my money! Buy your accessories from a trust worthy company not this one or you will regret it! There reviews on there website are lies no one in the history of reviews has 50k 5 star reviews and no other reviews
I bought 2 holsters from them for the same firearm. They both broke. I contacted them and they said it was for the firearm but not laser. So they refunded me for one. And when i aked for the refund for the other i was told it was out of warranty
This is by far the worst customer service I've ever come across with a company. There is ZERO chance their website has all of those 5 star reviews. I ordered 200 dollars worth of products from them 40 days ago and they haven't even been shipped yet. They have no accreditation from the BBB. Order your holsters and patriotic items from ANYWHERE BUT THEM. When you email them you get a garbage bot response and if a person does happen to respond, they have a horrible attitude. I'm sure this isn't actually an American company- seems foreign to me. If you order for the holidays you will NOT get it by Christmas. If my items don't ship today I'm filing fraud charges with my bank.
