I auto paid $3985. 24 stated in 27/12/24 card statement from my transaction a/c. It appeared on the 1st & 2nd columns of 28/1/25 statement
The refund by HP $2399 should have been added to the 2nd column of 28/1/25 statement. Philip deceived me & kept my money.

I have been with this bank since I was 16 yrs and I'm now 43 yrs.
Today they froze my account with zero explanation. I checked my online banking and BAM! Locked out of my own accounts.
I called them up - waited 45 mins and I was finally told I needed to go into my local branch to sort out the issue. I went into the branch and I was put on hold - it took 3 hours to talk to someone on the phone. (I was sitting in the branch for literally 3 hours just waiting)
When they eventually spoke to me, there was no apology and they were very rude, inconsiderate and asked me extremely personal questions with super judgement. They belittled me and talked over me. All this while the Westpac banker was sitting in front of me scratching his head and appeared embarrassed. After the call he said it happens all the time - this is not new he said. I am perplexed how they even have a job still.
Her name was [Name Removed] and she verbally attacked and interrogated me on the phone and left me feeling like I wanted to jump off a bridge.
Westpac, please listen to her phone call, in fact I will be asking for a recording and I will share it with this review.
You have lost a loyal customer and I will be sharing my story with everyone I know. If I could give you a -5 star review I would.
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere! Disgusting!
So, they can actually freeze your account instantly and [Name Removed] (the obnoxious woman) told me to open up another account with ANOTHER bank because it could take more than 10 days to fix this problem. (Gone are the days where the customer is always right)
All this because they were concerned about who sent me money and wanted to know exactly what I was going to do with it. (That is none of your business)
They could easily ruin your life and block all of your accounts for zero reason overnight!
The worst bank in Australia in my opinion!

The above review is my opinion, maybe you will be treated like royalty. But based on their below average star review - chances are… choose your bank wisely!
Been with Westpac for almost 9 years and everytime I go to their branch there is almost no one to help me.
I have an everyday atm account which i pay the monthly fee when they already have one that is free. They didnt bother to tell me. All those years, money is wasted.
Went to their branch recently, and the bank manager doesnt have no idea you can pay using your phobe or havent heard apply pay.
Im moving to NAB OR ANZ and so far my experience there is 1000% better.
Stay away to westpac coming from long time westpac customer!
