Bad experience with the software and then when I requested a refund I got lectured about the "tone" of my email. It did NOT take out all the duplicate files and I immediately started having weird problems in my computer and I had to call tech support. Customer service claimed they issued a refund but sent a very snarky email lecturing me about how I wrote MY email. Fragile, anyone? I said nothing nasty, I just expressed my disappointment with what they claimed it would do, as opposed to what my actual experience was. The person also told me in so many words that I did not know what I was talking about, and that of course, THEIR software wouldn't do any of the things I was claiming. Well, all l did was forward to them what tech support told me had happened. And the only reason I told Webminds what tech support told me was because WEBIMINDS ASKED me to explain it in the last email. If they didn't want the answer, or were that easily offended, then they shouldn't have asked. All I told them is what my tech support people told ME and I got a lecture for it. I wish I had read some of the reviews here and on other sites before I bought it. I don't believe my card will be refunded either but we we'll see.
I ordered the program and downloaded it OK, put it to work however it took approx. 3 hours to find the duplicate photos in a 1 TB Seagate HD. Then another 1.5hr. To eliminate the duplicates. As I said it does work, albeit slow.

Since the 25th December 2022 I am asking for a refund because the products are not working for me at all. The company is ignoring my request and is not answering anymore to my messages.
You cannot use the keyboard in order to check or uncheck quickly the files. You have to search every tiny checkbox with the mouse cursor in order to select the files to be deleted. It is not possible to review the files and select the files with the space or enter key.
Downloaded and registered program received the activation code and when I went to activate the program I received an error message ERROR #******* and then tried to activate it by email. I received a couple of responses and did what the tech said and nothing worked. I kept emailing saying this is not activating the program and received no response after that. So then I began asking for my money back and still did not receive an answer or a reply as to how I could activate the program. What is really disconcerting is there is no phone number, the person (assuming there is on) never responded when I told them there fix did not work. I sent pictures of the error message and sent many emails detailing the problem. Sitejabber is my next step.
I purchased. No problem. I received invoice. But no licence number to activate the shredder. I contacted them through their ticket system. I the mean time I gave up. It was urgent that I used the product. Not because of anything illegal. I used another company. Then I got the reply with standard garbage. Sorry, we have now sent a duplicate invoice with licence key. TO LATE. Asked for a refund. Not one reply. I have sent12 or more. I have now threatened legal action. I am a 70 years old and am not brilliant with tech. Good enough but slow. I told rhem this. But no reply. I will hound them now. Typical ignorant company. Get the money and forget it. I don't even know if shredder is any good. But one thing is for certain. Appalling service. SHAME ON THEM. I HAVE ALL THE SCREEN SHOTS OF MY TICKETS. JUST IN CASE PROOF IS NEEDED.
I am hoping to get a refund, but I don't think it will ever happen! My Malware Bytes program put the "Retrieve deleted files" program in quarantine when I tried it to get my files back! I do not recommend this product!
I think that you have a damn cheek to suggest that all of us dissatisfied customers with your company made mistakes with our orders! Your Ad was quite clear. You offered a 75/79%? Discount on an application with 2 other applications offered for free! Where, for example, did I sign up for a 2 year renewable contract? How did my $9.95US order turn into a $36US order. If I ticked anything at all it was for the 2 free applications that your company offered. Anyway, I seem to have lost my money, I have dumped the applications you sent because of the bad reviews and I certainly will not be ordering anything further from you.
Be careful. This company offers a special download application at $9.95 US dollars and bundles it with other stuff not asked for and charges $36 US dollars. Berni C, in his review, suffered the same fate and, like myself, has been unable to arrange a refund. Another reviewer warns about using the application should you decide to keep it as it wiped stuff off his hard drive that he needed to keep!
Software never installed. I've been asking for a refund for literally months. Crooks. Avoid at all costs.
Beware their con hidden in the fine print. They will sell your promo along with other crap utilities. In the end, their invoice price is triple what the promo price is.

Worst bunch of software salesmen I have ever dealt with. Lost money. And learned a great lesson in how salesmen use the web to steal from the unwary.
Programs have an unpublished expiry date after a year. You won't find this out until you've already purchased and go to download them. Hi Don, sorry you got disappointed by the expiry date. We do mention it in the FAQ. However, all our programs remain fully functional after the license expires. You can continue using the version you have installed for as long as you want. The license merely stops automatic free updates.
Thanks for the heads up regarding the warning - we're going to submit a false positive claim to Malwarebytes.
Eventually after opening up yet another ticket, I commented that I had written an honest review of their terrible service and that I wasn't going to let the matter drop. After that I received a speedy reply with a promise of a refund. Whilst I should never have had to go through so many hoops for this to be sorted and the service was dire, I am also happy to say the money owed has just been replaced in my bank account. Due to this I have given them 3 stars.
I ordered the duplicate photo cleaner only, but got charged for a bundle including a download for something I have no need for and not even sure what it is! They took £59 out of my account instead of the $39 expected. I'm not sure of the exchange rate but they have basically stolen my money. I've been trying to get a refund for the item I did not order but they've started ignoring my messages. This company cannot be trusted. I won't let it rest but I shouldn't be having to deal with this. I will happily write an updated review should I ever receive the money they owe me back.
Purchased the Duplicate Photo Finder software and they charged me $69.85 after bundling it with other programs and a two year license that I didn't ask for. They blew-off my requests for refund then argued with Discover when I made the claim there. Only so many hours in the day I let it drop. I never installed the software - might be wonderful or it could suck - I can only recommend that you don't do business with this company.
Hi Bernie, I'm sorry about your negative experience. I can see from your screenshot that you purchased Easy Duplicate Finder and chose to keep the Duplicate Photo Cleaner offer checked. The same goes for a 2-year license. If you didn't want any of the other items, you should have unchecked the checkboxes. But again, sorry for the misunderstanding!
Never received a license! I contacted support 10 times and they do not bother to reply.

Hi, and sorry for the trouble. Licenses are sent using an automated email system and sometimes the emails end up in Spam. So please check that. Also, please provide your support ticket reference number and I'll check it for you.
Dont use... it takes two hour to uninstall it... very complicated and push u to buy the premium...

Hi Nima, I'm sorry you found our software difficult to use (although it's a simple 3-step process where you add folders, run a scan, and click on the "Delete" button to remove duplicate files). Also, it doesn't take that long to uninstall our apps - on Windows, it's a simple process, just like for other apps. And on Mac, you can simply delete the. App file from the "Applications" folder. Also, we have detailed uninstall instructions on our website's "Help" page.
There is no way to unsubscribe and the emails just keep coming. All I did was look at the site. As soon as I learned that it was not a free service I moved on to a different duplicate cleaner but good old Mike just keeps sending emails and there is no way to unsubscribe.
Hi! All our newsletters have an Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email. Clicking on it will remove you from our list. Incidentally, simply "looking at the site" can't subscribe you to an email list - you must have downloaded our software and registered an account. Hello Diane, I had a chat with our support team and they showed me the entire correspondence with you. What you state in your review is not exactly true. You successfully installed our software on your computer and then encountered a problem with the scan. Support sent you a new version to try, which unfortunately returned the same problem. We then asked you to provide the log file for the application (a standard software support procedure), which you refused to do. We would really like to find out what the problem is and fix it.
First I was billed $70 for a $40 purchase. Contacted support immediately. I did receive a refund.
Then I used the software. Out of 30,000 files it missed 6,000 duplicates. I requested a refund on a new ticket. Was asked to try a second scan and that 80% is "pretty good" for a first scan.
Not for $40 it's not.
Refund has been refused. PayPal ain't sticking up for its customers anymore either.
DONT purchase from this company. TRASH.
Hi Luke, sorry that you're not satisfied with the software. Are you using Easy Duplicate Finder or Duplicate Photo Cleaner? If it's EDF, then 80% is pretty good for the first scan because the app has different modes that serve different purposes. And if it's DPC, then adjusting the similarity threshold can make a big difference. Set it to 100% and the app will only detect identical images in the same format. Set it to 70% and you'll get similar images in the results too. Hope this helps.
