You use to be able to navigate from hour, day, week with ease. Now it's the most user unfriendly interface on the internet. Does someone get paid for taking a good product down the $#*! hole?
Forecasts are off by as much as 15 degrees! How do they stay in business with such an abysmal track record?
When are you going to get a professional web programmer that can save your website from the terrible state it is in? I used it for over a decade and now had to move on to another weather site.
I JUST CLICKED ON A LINK THAT SAID "TWIN HURRICANES ARE ABOUT TO GET TOO CLOSE TO EACH OTHER? I CLICK THE LINK WHICH WAS THE FIRST MISTAKE. IT TURNED OUT TO BE 2 TROPICAL DEPRESSIONS. YOUR SITE LOADS SLOWER THAN FACEBOOK. AND THAT IS SAYING SOMETHING.
Where to start? Unresponsive mobile site (tablet and phone) because it is full of useless click bait and eye candy, running countless scripts. Useless in the extreme.
This app is a joke. You can't do anything without being bombarded with ads. If you haven't purchased it yet, then you are winning. Save your money
This used to be my go to website for weather information. Now it is slow, quirky, full of ads and who knows what else. Would never recommend this site to anyone.
This website is just about as bad as it gets. The actual weather information is located precisely three-quarters of the way down the page in-between multiple intrusive autoplaying ads. The information is generally correct about the weather, but its the same information you could find on 25 other websites that aren't littered with hundred of desperate attempts of clickbaiting the viewer. The videos on weather.com are the worst bait videos I've ever seen. They all have a 30 second unskippable ad beforehan, are typically only 30 seconds to 1 minute long, and contain nothing but some corny commentary or quotes from a random nobody. Once you're done watching a video that gives you no real information, it auto plays the next video which will have a fresh 30 second unskippable ad.
Can you say money hungry and desperate for clicks? Welcome to weather.com
This performance is seriously a throwback we are not nostalgic about, get with the times, lessen the annoying ads and side stories, and give me what I want - my city, my outlook, my weather, now!
There are many weather pages on the Web, but this is the only one to my knowledge that offers hourly forecasts. Weather.com a. K. a. The Weather Channel has a page that will let you see at a glance the predicted temperatures and weather conditions for the various hours coming up. And tabs will let you check weather for tomorrow, for the next 5 days, for the next 10 days, and even for the next month.
If this is of interest, you'll want to create a bookmark from the following template: www.weather.com/weather/hourbyhour/graph/xxxxx, first substituting your 5-digit zip code for the xxxxx.
You might also want to compare today's weather with that of yesterday. Weather.com has a page for that as well. Use this template: www.weather.com/weather/pastweather/xxxxx, as above substituting your zip code for the xxxxx.
Just came back to this app and what's the first story I find? Complete and utter garbage that promotes stupidity. This coming from a channel that "supports the scientific method".
Horribly slow. Feels like 1990's dialup. Unusable and a shame. Other sites run scripts and ads, must be some old crap they are running. Best option is local news.
I used to love weather.com. Used it at home, on my cell... everywhere! I loved it! I would spend an hour watching videos too.
Now, I have removed it and am using WeatherBug again. I can't be the only one. They must be seeing an enormous drop in their customer viewing base.
First, the length and frequency of the advertisements are brutal. The new commercial representing DOVE SOAP, sealed the deal. Cute girl, not her fault. But, this commercial is extremely loud and long. And it is shown over and over, before each video? UGH! I am forced to leave the site. No snow video is worth the torture.
Second, the huge amount of advertisements on my cell phone prevent me from viewing what I want to see... the weather. Are you kidding me? This was so annoying that I deleted the app in anger.
$#*!s. Really, it makes people angry. They have taken away a fantastic website from us. They are only concerned about shoving advertising down our throats. The person(s) who made all these horrible changes at Weather.com? Fire them.
Goodbye weather.com... you greedy selfish bastards.
Should be ashamed of their product. It's entirely not useful.
In this day and age it's totally fixable and avoidable. Grade school children could develop a better site. So frustrating.
JUST WHEN YOU THINK THESE STUPID $#*!S COULDNT DO ANYTHING WORSE THAN FORECASTING THE WEATHER, SURPRISE THERE'S THIS $#*!TY SORRY $#*! EXCUSE FOR A WEBSITE. GUESS DUMB $#*!ING LAZY ASSES WITH THE MOST SKILLESS JOB IN THE WORLD CANT DO ANYTHING RIGHT.
Weather channel use to be my "go to" but I've finally given up today! There were so many ads that for over 5 minutes I could not even get to the ACTUAL WEATHER. ADS KEPT POPPING UP! I do not go to weather channel for news! Frustrated, disgusted with wasting my time and from now on will go to local news website.
Why do the reporters stay in the storm after telling people to evacuate. Are the trying to get the stupidity award. Little children can figure that one out. What a bunch of idiots.
Slow and most times unresponsive. Trying to watch the radar and it runs at 1 frame per 2-4 seconds. Takes entirely too long to load one webpage and then they make you click two or three more times just to get all the information you want. I know why they do this - so you load more ads and they make more revenue. The articles are click-baity and half the time dont even seem relevant to the weather? And this terribly-running site asks me to DISABLE MY ADBLOCKER? Yeah, right. I can't even imagine how slow it would be if I disabled my freakin ad blocker - probably 1 frame per 5 minutes.
TWC, I will happily disable my ad blocker when you hire someone who can make sense of your over-cluttered crapfest website. How many more clicks will it take for you to be able to afford that?: thinking:
I'm not sure what happened but TWC updated their radar and it absolutely sucks. The timestamp is so close to your location it covers part of the radar so you can't actually see what's hitting you. Also, I NEVER use the future radar because it wouldn't be accurate considering how fast weather changes, but the radar automatically continues on to the future. It needs to go back to how it used to be, it was easier to view and easier to use. Checking the weather shouldn't be that complicated.
Weather.com is just one big ad. They prioritize ad scripts over the info they claim to provide. Why anyone would bother visiting this site is beyond my imagination.
Answer: Won't get any better. They now force you to turn off your ad blocker or you can't use the site. Move on!
Answer: That's not a question.
