This performance is seriously a throwback we are not nostalgic about, get with the times, lessen the annoying ads and side stories, and give me what I want - my city, my outlook, my weather, now!
The site is abysmal, soooooo sloooooow, full of clickbait, videos play when you don't want them, No vetting of advertising, they will take anything and put it on their page. They would advertise for Hitler if he were alive and had money. They have somehow purchased wunderground.com and are in the process of ruining it. weather.gov is the source data for all these weather sites, so might as well use that, tons faster and has all the same information without the click bait.
How is it that this site is worse than ever. The site is sluggish and has more advertising than content. The radar is not user friendly. Simply awful.
I used the Weather.com site for years, but now it is so slow that it is unusable. It takes so long to load that you need 1/2 hour to get a few updates. I can't believe they let it get this bad. Stop all of the HD videos and crapware. Same issue on my windows laptop and my Android phone... Site is useless.
You are better off just looking out the window. By the time it loads, I've gotten the forecast elsewhere.
It was already bad, having to wait well over a minute to transfer ad content, but now after 3 minutes it was still waiting... this is unusable. Since this is deliberate, I believe the management got sold a bill of goods to increase revenue and is congratulating some manager for making a good decision... but it is clear they are too stupid to recognize what has happened. That tells me that if they cannot have a funtional web site, their ability to forcast the weather is also suspect.
I have been using weather.com exclusively for weather for years. I chose it by comparing its predictions, as well as those of other sites, to the real observed conditions. It seemed like it was right most often. But at this point, it is no longer usable. I have had to move on. The first insult was when it stopped remembering my saved locations without signing in. I'm just trying to check the weather, not remember more passwords! And now the site will barely even load, often not not doing so at all. And you have to wait until it's completely done, or you end up inadvertently clicking on an ad. They've recently made finding the different options (hourly, 3-day, etc.) extremely challenging. I did find it eventually, but with how slow the site is, it doesn't make you want to search around.
When are you going to get a professional web programmer that can save your website from the terrible state it is in? I used it for over a decade and now had to move on to another weather site.
Worst site ever. Grinds away loading then hits you with a fake "Creepy abandoned Airport " click bait hidden on the page. Hate this site now. Removing from bookmarks. You suck. I'll just look out of the window and guess what the weather will be.
As a user, I find that as they add crap to their website (ads) it gets worse and worse. I travel a lot. I do not want to work and wait and try again for weather
At my destination. I have complained before and this is it. A cuweather is clean, sleek and user friendly. Adios
Bulky interface, lousy user experience, SLOW loads (and I have business level cable internet), and irritating ads upon ads upon ads... I am permanently moving to one of the other weather apps/sites - can't handle weather.com anymore...
As many have experienced, there are more ads than weather content. And scrolling or mousing pretty much anywhere leads to more ads, highlights, etc that change the screen - so you inadvertently click on an ad. When you finally to get to click on a city you want to go to, the screen goes blank - no info is brought up. So, I can't even find so much as a temperature of the city I want to see. This site is nothing more than a clickbait sham. I'm very disappointed that IBM would be associated with this or put out such a bad product. I'm done with Weather.com
I have broadband Internet at 125 Mbps download and this is the only site that takes forever to load, if at all. It's sad because this was always my go-to site for weather. I'll use other weather sites because they actually load the page quickly.
This is no joke the WORST website on the Internet. Weather, get it together, otherwise ALL WILL SWITCH to better sites. Go easy on the junk, advertisements, and clickbait - i. E., DO THE FORECAST. It's not worth it to have such a bad website (more junk = less hits = more junk = less hits).
Might be the worse site to visit. Extremely slow loading. Half the time doesn't work. Weather in motion even slower. This is all while having purchased highest bandwidth possible for house. Their site brings you back to the old dial up modem days
Takes twenty minutes to load, and wayyy too much going on with ads and videos on the sides/middle of pages. This is pathetic.
Now it's not even opening in Firefox. Won't store a location in Chrome without "signing up." Slower than ever, as all the B. S. loads up (check it out in the lower left corner.) PAINFULLY SLOW now. Ridiculous ads before the videos ("Hi I'm Dacey from Dove" again & again & again). Some of the ads are 30 seconds and then the video is only 10 seconds. I go there for the Radar, anyone know a better site?
Your site is worthless. I have high speed internet with ATT and it still sucks to try to get informed. Also, the TV channel no longer gives true local on the 8's. That used to be my favorite part.

The site gets slower and slower because of the ad content. I just want to see the forecast, thats all.
Answer: Won't get any better. They now force you to turn off your ad blocker or you can't use the site. Move on!
Answer: That's not a question.
The Weather Channel and weather.com provide a national and local weather forecast for cities, as well as weather radar, report and hurricane coverage
