Won't cut pets hair. Even though it's made for pets. Spent over $300. Spent another $20 shipping for battery not charging. And the brand new blades won't work. Called in they say send in! Not spending another $20 bc I don't trust wahl anymore. I am a groomer with 30 years experience. They told me I don't put the blades in right. Huh? Have you seen the reviews?
I bought a clipper / trimmer set but the set only comes with combs for the clipper, none for the trimmer. Of course this wasnt disclosed in the product description. Ok, whatever... but the trimmer guards only cost $13 which is below the $25 free shipping min. The shipping charge for a 3oz item? $12.39. Really? Insult to injury... the package hasnt shown up for 2 weeks and there's no way to track it.
The wahl cs person i spoke with couldn't care less.
Im sure in the midst of a pandemic with salons and barbers closed whal is doing record sales so who cares if a few customers are pissed.
I believe what goes around comes around so wahl will get their due.

Wahl trimmer Model 5537n Made in vietnam! Go figure! What a $#*!tful clipper I have ever bought! The cutting blade sticks out past the gard and will cut you up! What a crappy junk! I will NEVER buy another wahl anything EVER AGAIN! I want to strangle someone at wahl and use this trimmer on them! There how does your $#*!ty trimmer feel deep in your neck! Bastards!
I inherited my Wahl from my Dad, It was older than I was and had cut a lot of hair when I had to replace it when I was 30.30 years later, my Wahl looks brand new. Now I only trim my beard and mustache, I don't give hair cuts to half the neighbors like my dad so my Wahl should last my son forever. Thank You.
I called Wahl corp, as I had in the past, for a simple guide comb only to be shouted at in return. I was under the impression that Wahl was a company who valued their customers until a customer representative heard rather than listened to what I had to say. I told the customer representative I had been a Wahl customer for years which is true and in return the customer service representative answered me with a sorry smart alec apology saying she's sorry she didn't sugar coat anything. The customer service representative was very technical. After I told her that that would probably be the last time I shop for any Wahl product she responded "whatever" as if she was ten years old then hanged up on me.
My husband loves their Andis Professional ******* Outliner II Personal Trimmer.
It is so worth the price we paid for it. I'm even thinking of buying a new one for my father. He does need to oil it regularly and clean it as well. We got it from amazon and got a great deal.
