We booked a property for a client and paid up front. The booking was then cancelled by them for 'technical issues', but they never refunded what we had paid them, and simply told us that the error of them accepting the booking and taking payment wasn't their fault. So, after many requests for a refund, they told us they had wired the funds to us, so when it didn't arrive, we asked for a receipt or a reference so we could trace it, but they told us that their bank didn't have one. After I gave up trying to get any sensible response from them regarding their bank, I resorted to sending them a PayPal request for payment and Jeffrey Andrews said none of them have a credit card. My company is a start up, and we work on honesty, and we earn a tiny 3% of a booking for our efforts - we found alternative accommodation for our clients, which was more expensive than the booking that Jeff had cancelled, but we covered this cost so that our clients weren't left stranded. People like Jeff and his son Steve are really quite disgusting, lowly individuals - completely untrustworthy and shouldn't be in business scamming hard working people and destroying much needed vacations through selfish theft of others funds, and putting other businesses at risk - it's simply cruel and mean.
