There is a lack of technical support. Difficult to get information upfront in order to submit plans for a permit. Emails and phone calls are not followed up on. Simple questions and hard to get answers!

Don't buy from Viking Steel Structures can't get a actual date when garage will be delivered and installed. Phone calls won't be returned. It's all about the money for this company. I paid the $2100 deposit for the garage and yet I am told it could be up to 4 to 6 weeks or longer. I was never told 4 to 6 weeks before I ordered the garage! Then I get a message blaming it on the price of fuel and that they need more buildings sold in my area before they will come here. Yet I got a call asking if the concrete was ready a week after they received my deposit. Saying the sales person said the concrete was done and garage was ready to be installed. Now they are telling me 4 to 6 weeks really doesn't make any sense. If the customer service is this terrible then makes you wonder what the actual building is like. I actually wouldn't even give this company 1 star. If it's not convenient for the company they won't make it right with their customers.

From the web site which is very easy to use with the 3D estimator, to interaction with the sales representative, who was Robert Suarez, who also was very helpful it was a great experience. The installation crew arrived right on time when they said they would. Installation took just over a day. They reviewed the order with me and made sure that windows and doors were where I wanted them to be. When they were done there was no mess left behind, all was picked up and clean. I have already started to recommend other people to them.

I ordered this for my RV. After waiting 2 months there was still no delivery in sight so I asked tem to cancel and issue a refund. They refused, even though it would still be 8 to 10 weeks to deliver it.

Both myself and my contractor (who was putting in a concrete slab for me) had questions for Juan ( who told us how it should be done), but we had important questions about it. I had his direct line and email, and Viking Steel email. We called and called many times and He never a return call or email. The slab looks like garbage, and the Structure put in by TOL barely made it on the slab. Thanks, Juan for nothing!

Horrible customer service bad attitude. Sent another company to delivere my metal building all scratched up and window broken then tried to drive away as if I was not going to notice. One side of my door does not lock because bad installation. Had to get 3 surveys spent over 5000 to close permit something they do not tell you. Took months to get done.

Viking was very good to deal with especially working with Diego while he was there(left just before building was ordered), always returned phone calls and answered emails in a timely fashion. It was a little over a year later after I sent the deposit before I was ready for the building and Viking was very patient, once I sent them foundation pictures and permit information they arrived with the building in about three weeks later to my surprise and I couldn't say enough good things about the installation crew, very polite and professional not to mention craftmanship! Would certainly buy from again!

I was excited to do business with this company. They seemed to have good reviews and great prices. I submitted a request for a quote, and never got a response. So eager to do business with this company I reach to again explaining that I am currently deployed and only have email and again ask for a quote on a specific building, still nothing. Finally I reach out via Facebook and finally get a response but days later still no quote. I would love to know why it's so hard to email a customer a quote when they're trying to give you thousands of dollars. My recommendation buy from any other company.

I contacted this place about a month ago for a quote. I received the quote and nothing else. I have attempted to contact numerous times for details and maybe other options with no response. I have left my work number my personal cell and even work and personal email with no response. I would go less stars if it were possible. If this review helps you or I in the future, I will be happy that I didn't let anyone else go through the ignoring that I have received. If this message gets to cooperate, I will be happy to chat with any of them about my experience.

We are very pleased with our 3 car garage building. Jayven was very good to work with and get everything set up. Installation crew were very good at what they do. Impressed it only took them a day and a half to get my garage installed. Would recommend them to anyone that asked

If you can wait one and half year to order a carport from this company and still don't know when they deliver to you then go ahead. It's happened to me. I was upset and asking for my 15% down deposit to be refund and they refused. IT IS MY FALL, THEY SAID.
Think about that.

Sent the information requesting a quote. Never heard back from them. Sent second email a week later, and now 24 hours after that and still I've not heard a word. Very poor customer service. How hard is it to respond and let someone know what's going on? At this point not even sure I would trust them with the project. Who knows maybe they would take your deposit and then show up when they felt like it. Very dissatisfied at this point! Now I'm curious to see if this even gets posted. Maybe they even sensor their reviews

Ordered this building and paid in full was told it would be deliver & install the first week in February 2021 with NO idea they contracted it out to Carolina Carports, Inc. to install... Carolina Carports, Inc. has a poor rating with complaints through Better Business Bureau. I have not received a delivery date yet

10% paid. No building. No refund. I signed a contract April 2021 and paid the 10% down for a 30x45 building in the Myrtle Beach area. Viking was quick to respond and get me signed up. The problems began with the installer they use for my area (Top of the Line around Mt Airy, NC). They have terrible reviews and very poor communication with the customer. One person there would tell me they couldn't design my building with 4' centers. With many questions why they couldn't have a 1' spacing on the last post I finally said space them 3'9". Only to have someone months later say they would be doing 4' centers for me. TOL waited too long to order my materials and around day 85, called to set up the install and said there's a 15% increase due to material prices had went up. When I questioned Viking, they reached out to TOL a few different times and never got a response. I was told no response was not uncommon for TOL. Since TOL reached out to schedule within 100 days, I'm not able to get my $1,7xx deposit back. Viking admitted TOL does not communicate well and their managers don't even respond to emails. But they still used them for me! TOL has a clause that it's the customers duty to verify pricing every 30 days to see if there's any changes. I can't legally get my $ back from Viking but at least I can warn people in my area not to order a Viking building if they're going to use TOL for the install.

Ordered a carport in October 2020, and the salesman was wonderful. After the sale is when everything crashed. The subcontractor that does the install should be run out of business. I have heard every excuse that has ever been given, plus a few more. I have called them no less than 100 times, and have got nowhere. They gave me an installation date, to which I called the day before to verify, and my Son and Myself took vacation days to be there. We sat all day, and into the evening waiting for them to show up. We called 3 times throughout the afternoon to find out where they were. I was told that they were attempting to contact the crew, and would call me back. Guess what - no response. Today is day 2 of the supposed installation, and I have called them 5 times, only to get that they were once again trying to get hold of the crew. Osama Bin Ladin was not this difficult to find. Not only do I not have, and looks like will never get my carport, but you do not get your deposit back. Fair warning not to be a sucker like me.

I see alot of good reviews on this website, however my experience was not! The garage doors were 3" off and I had to pay $850 to a contractor to get them fixed, the siding on the front, side and back of the shed is missing the screws to hold it in place. Screws that are there, which is minimal are not in a straight line they are up and down all over the place. I have contacted them several times, with a response but no action to fix ANYTHING. Very disappointed in the garage and also the customer service to remedy the situation. As you can see from the pictures front panel is missing ALL, screws, top screws 2nd photo not in a straight line, hole where they took a screw out. The guys slept in their truck in my drnieway overnight, up at 6am to finish with not very good sleep could be part of the reason and they had another job to get to that day. Terrible job, buyer beware, customer service non-exitstent. My opinion go somewhere else!
