Verizon has terrible customer service we are finally fet up paying high amounts each month for service. The moment we transferred carriers they promised our account was clean and I'd see a discount for the week and a half we didn't use. They took me off my online account immediately. Never sent me any other statements in the mail then billed me for a full 30 days extra and sent that to collections. They are not worth the hassle and contracts.

They Are No Good!

Money thirsty guzzling bandits!They have the worst service in the world. I had a prepaid account and when I renewed for September, the service had definitely fallen off the rails. I couldn't use data with one bar and then no bar. My phone finally said SOS and absolutely nothing was showing on my phone. I could have had an emergency and no way to call out. Not to mention the service was already going downhill in the previous months. I instantly switched to Mint Mobile and called to get my money back. I explained to customer service what happened and they said they were refunding me the money and it should be in my bank account within 3-5 business days. Not so, they lied and no money was ever refunded. I did a Bbb complaint and they denied I had an account with them. They declined the refund again. I hope the Feds shut them down. Anyone thinking about using this company, please don't get this service!

Thiefs

My husband went in with his iPhone 13, traded in for an IPhone 14pro max. Supposedly got $400 off. But only if he signed the contract for 36 months. Would not let him pay it up front.
1 hour later, I went in to cancel, I could get a better deal elsewhere. They said fine, but they refused to give him his IPhone 13 back! That is stealing!
My next step is to file a complaint with the BBB and the Attorney General!
These corporations are just ripping people off!
I went directly to Samsung, got $400 more off my trade in and i was able to pay it off in full! Plus they hooked my phone up to Verizon, no charge!

Nobody Knows

I started Verizon internet about a month ago. I have billing questions. I call the number that's available and press 2. Speak to someone briefly and they tell me I have the wrong department and I need to call a different number. The number given is the same number I've already called in on and have pressed the 2 numerous times. So this has gone on 5 times with no resolution to my issue. Having a chat is the same issue. Does anyone at Verizon know whats going on with Home Internet!

When you sign up for Verizon, make sure you ask for the estimate of next bill.
Here are the problems I encountered:
- they do not honor what sale team promises you.
- the agents will say that they will call you back; they never do.
- they will find the most expensive solution to solve your problem.
- Sales team do not disclose everything: always ask for next bill estimate,
- Invest as shareholder, but don't be a customer.
- Ask for bill estimate all the the time, otherwise you will be screwed.

Customer service sucks!
I bought a phone from Facebook Marketplace, and turned out Verizon blacklisted it for no reason.
I called the 1800 number and talked to someone in India, and was told this phone wasn't stolen or owed anything, but only original owner can call and unlock it!
This i BS, should be illegal!
I can't contact the original owner any longer, so now I wasted money for nothing. This Monopoly from Verizon should stop!

I have very bad experience with Verizon for my business for three months my land lane was not working they made me pay for new equipment and never worked i send it back to them and change to at&t and they are still billing me i call more then twenty times and the problem is still not solved

Leaving Soon

After 7 years of business,given to them, I'm leaving soon. Their customer service has gone way down, and they are terribly insensitive. After setting up a promise to pay, by a certain date, I was harassed, and threatened with service interruption. During a bereavement time, they are very insensitive.

Verizon Business has to be hands the worst. They tell everything you would like to hear til your first bill comes. I have only been a customer for less than 6 months and every month my bill is so messed up. They love to telling you how your phones is free so they can lock you in for 36 months that how they do it. STAY AWAY from VERIZON MOBILE I CAN NOT BELIEVE I FELT FOR THRRE SCAM.

Horrible customer service

The Verizon wireless has no customer service number where you can actually speak to a person. They send you to the automated verizon assist around and around in a circle. They don't help you setup your device. I would not recommend going with Verizon.

Verizon is predatory. They care nothing about elderly customers.It's all about the money. I gave them proof my elderly parents were scammed and they agreed, but still billed my parents 800 extra dollars for international calls after agreeing to cancel there phones. I was ready to cancel the phones a 2400 fee but they said no if I cancel the phone I would have no recourse. The caveat was I had to leave one line open to get the discount from fraudulent calls. The next month my folks were billed 800 additional dollars for international calls. In order to stop the bleeding I had to pay the scammed calls and the stolen phones for a total of 3400.Luckily I had the funds to close the account. Most people don't. My advice is stay away from Verizon. They are no different than a drug dealer. They threaten you with contracts and collections. I recommend a burner phone using there network. Phones are cheaper and service is excellent as far as data and connection. Go with no contracts. My rating would be 0 out of 5 stars. I have talked to "customer service" 3 times in 3 months for well over 5 hours. Awful experience. I hope this helps someone.

Verizon Bait and Switch

Watch out to Verizon current customers for Verizon illicit advertisements about getting NFL Sunday Ticket.

I agreed to get the 5G Home Internet for the promise and offer of getting the free NFL Sunday Ticket promotion with internet.

Verizon gave me the internet box and premium internet with the promise of sending the redeem email for me to get the Ticket. Unfortunately, it was all a lie.

The redeem email never worked.

I called Verizon customer service and they told ne after activation of the premium internet service that I didn't qualify unless I get there expensive unlimited data plan.

It was a bait and switch racket! I was livid for being lied too. The treachery of big tech companies is out of control.

As a result, I transferred my cell phone service to AT&T and will cancel the internet service once AT&T install my upgrade at cheaper cost.

Home Internet

Verizon said they offered 5G home internet in my area. In March 2023, I signed up and was sent their gateway. Setup was simple. The download speed wasn't what they said it would be. I called multiple times, working with their tech support people over a two-month period. Initially they thought there was something wrong with the gateway they provided, and they sent a new one. The new gateway had the same issue with low (5-10 mbps). Ultimately, they said they didn't know why my speed was so slow and recommended I look elsewhere for service.

From June to August, I was working with them to return the first gateway they provided. Knowing that they would be charging me $200 if unreturned, I was eager to complete the process. I spoke to Verizon no less than 4 times over the 2-month period. Their seemed to be an ongoing issue with my home/billing address (same address). Each time they verified my address, stated they have it correct but time after time the "return kit" didn't arrive. They refused to just provide me the address to return the gateways or expiate the delivery of the return kits. I finally received the first gateway return kit on August 27th. I called Verizon to confirm which gateway this kit was for and to check on the status of the second gateway return kit. The representative confirmed it was for the first gateway and said they reordered another return kit for the second gate way.

Today is 9/7 and so far I haven't received either of the return kits that Verizon sent for the second gateway. On the phone the rep, apparently my address is still incorrect in their system. They updated it again and are sending another return kit.

I also had a $200 fee on my account for the first gateway not being return. I informed the rep that I did return the gates and had ups tracking confirmation that it was delivered. They did remove fee from my account.

Poor customer service

I had my account in my name. For no reason at all Verizon switched the account to being in my wife's name. This makes it extremely difficult to pay for my monthly bill. On top of that they keep telling me that I'm wrong with my account password when I know I'm right. This company's ability to keep records is horrendous!

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

There is no way with Verizon that we can talk to a person in charge when we have a complaint or need a boss to decide about a billing problem. I spoke to many people but no one can make a DECISION. Once an employee even who lied about her name & after lied to me that the charge was to be cancelled. I was told to go to the store near me & they told me they could not help me but to call the office. After getting the run around many times, I decided to write a letter about my complaint (an empl. Gave me an address) Never got a response. NOBODY AT VERIZON CAN GIVE ME A PHONE NO TO CALL. How could a well-known company not have this. Verizon does care about its clients!
