I'm really not the Karen type for simple mistakes, but the product description on Veepn's website is false. I purchased a "1 month plan" on November 12th, 2022 and was clearly shown on my account that the service would expire December 12th, 2022. However, I was charged again on December 12th, and there was no way to cancel the subscription from Veepn's website. I had to cancel the subscription via paypal where it clearly stated that it was a 1 month purchase. It's also listed as "IT Research" and not "Veepn" so it took a hot minute to find out what service the subscription was for. I tried reaching out to the customer service at Veepn and requested reimbursement for the recent deduction but was informed that in their pages long terms-of-service it states that all purchases are recurring. If all purchases are recurring, then this is a false product description. After taking money out of my account again my new "expiry date" is January 12,2023. What would be the purpose of having an expiry date listed if the subscription didn't actually expire on that day? The money isn't the issue; but it's concerning to think I'm not the only person being charged continuously for a 1 time purchase. I think the funniest part of all of this is that the VPN didn't actually work lol. I ended up using Nord VPN instead.

You don't have to worry about your IP address: it is fully covered and you don't need to constantly check to make sure. The title says it all... extremely reliable!
Free version has just what I need, compared to other vpn's that give us temporary daily data to work with or give us a limited trial, the free version doesnt do that stuff and just lets us connect to a server for as long as we need

Tip for consumers:
The service doesn't work for Australians and their product descriptions are false. The "one-time purchases" are all recurring payments that you are unable to cancel unless you contact paypal.

I was shocked the first time it charged again as I didnt know what it was. I genuinely thought I had paid a month only plan. It asked to extend it. Meaning it seemed like it would only be one month. Not the recurring charge. I dont remember any terms of service.
I tried in vain to cancel it many times and couldnt find anywhere to cancel it. Meaning it rolled over to another month.
Really poor. And then eventually found that to cancel you must email a customer service.
I've had a recent bereavement and I just didnt have any cope to find any of this until now to figure out to cancel it.
I just want them to refund Oct. As I've unwittingly paid for August and Sept, and now Oct.

All payments of monthly and yearly subscriptions made with credit card, Google Play Store, iTunes in-app purchases, and PayPal are recurring (i.e., shall be automatically renewed at the end of the billing period of your Subscription Plan). We stipulate this in our terms of usage, which can be found on our website. By purchasing the subscription, you agree with the Terms.
Also, on the payment page, each plan has details how often it charges. The monthly subscription mentions the following: "Billed $10.99 every month"

In the beginning, we signed up for the monthly service. At the end of the first month, our service cut off. It seemed like the service didn't renew automatically, so we naively tried to cancel the monthly subscription and signed up for the yearly subscription (because we liked the service). Then our monthly service renewed the following day and we were charged twice (once for the monthly and once for the yearly subscriptions). Customer service refused to refund either subscription. They said they couldn't reverse the monthly because we were now already using it and they couldn't refund the yearly because it wasn't the original purchase. They explicitly acknowledged that they were aware they charged us twice and straight up told us it was our fault as both purchases were at our consent. The service works, but be warned, they are extremely dishonest and will screw you out of whatever they can.
Tip for consumers:
Confirm services are cancelled through your payment choice (PayPal, etc.) VeePN will cheat you out of money if they can.

When purchasing the product you confirm that you agree to the Terms of Service that state this information. Since you purchased the subscription on the 12th of November, it was automatically renewed on the 12th of December. The expiration date shows the end time of the subscription, however, it does not exclude automatic withdrawal. As stated in the Terms of Use: "Note that auto-renewal subscriptions become non-refundable after the auto-renewal."
