Easy, quick, professional. I'm not sure that the 'correct' figure was reached, but a great starting point.
They were able to identify a pendant from Qing Dynasty Era. I will be using them again, very happy with there service.

We provide auction estimates which are always significantly lower than private sales values, but can of course as you say be exceeded during the sale.
It is also prudent to start low to attract bidders.
