I've been a subscriber since April 2020 or so. The first year was great with limited issues. Typically if there were an issue, typically a channel getting a 404 error or buffering, they would quickly resolve the issue. Lately however, issues continue to go unresolved. I currently have 8 or so frequent channels that are not usable. It's very frustrating to say the least.
22 different pro games alone tonight. Not just local feeds. Buffering yes. Maybe upgrade your internet plan! Change games come back to your game easy fix. 120 a year oh my what a scandal. Not! Directv ballys north 8.95 a month local feed only! Not to mention the perfectly timed "we are in negotiations with the channel provider messages, normally right around end of the season playoff changes" unless you like your bill going up whenever they think it should. Try it for a year, put it on a firestick as an app, game changer! Phone pretty good, especially late night games! Favorite part listening to Canadian announcers talk nicely about the opponent is all class! And totally Canadian! Cheer enjoy UZZU!
DON'T USE Uzzu is a joke. I wanted to sign up for just a weekly subscription to try it out. Only option was to sign up for the annual member ship for $119.99. It states clearly on their website if you cancel within 24 hours that a refund will be issued NO Questions asked. Within the first 5-15 minutes had to restart due do poor quality of streaming. Right after the game I emailed them to state that I wasn't happy with the service and would like a refund. I have emailed at least 6 times now. I don't even get a response from anyone after I started to ask for my money back. Their customer service is an absolute JOKE! I'd give negative stars if possible.
We subscribed to UZZU because we have only local TV and wanted to watch the Vikings. We downloaded the app with no problem but because we live in the country our internet would just keep buffering. Anyways, that was a month ago and we have been in touch wanting a refund since the first week of our one year subscription to the reply of 'Hang Tight we're working on it' so no refund as of yet! I hate to write a bad review, so this is only to hopefully get the ball rolling on my refund. I will definitely write another review when this is resloved. Mike Woolard- Minnesota
Do not buy service. You can't watch a complete game without constant buffering, freezing, or not working all together. My friends have the same issues. Better off paying extra for cable or some other sports streaming service.
Sometimes you can actually watch a game but most times you are going to have to restart several times and like today, no channel will stay up & streaming for more than 2 minutes at a time.
We have been using it for months and haven't missed a Braves game. We also watched a few other events with no issues. No problems in my opinion unless your internet isn't fast. It doesn't run well on slow internet is the only thing that could be an issue.
I've been a customer for a few years. When I first signed up I received Starz, showtime, and HBO, I no longer get those( when I asked they said it was temporary). Still two years now, no change. For the price it's a good deal except the buffering and channels not working properly. My opinion is if you can afford something else go that route, I'm a disabled veteran on very limited income so I use it because of cost.
I used it for about a year or so with little issues (occasional freeze on a few channels). For a month or so I wasn't able to renew, but just found out that I could renew for ONE year only. At $120 a year, that's a great deal.
I have been using UZZU for a year. Went to renew my subscription and wasn't able to. What the heck? Sent an email and got a canned response. Now I'm stuck not able to watch baseball in my area. Terrible business model!
I was a member for well over a year. I would pay monthly sometimes weekly just depending on the sport season. Went to try to renew my subscription and was told there were no renewal options available. I sent an email asking why and got a response that they were not accepting new/renewal subscriptions at this time. I sent an email back stating I was an established customer and hoped they would get this resolved soon so I could stay a customer. No response back. After a couple weeks I sent another email asking for further info since I still could not renew and needed to know if I needed to find another provider. I received the exact email that they sent the first time. I replied back stating that their previous email to me was this exact verbatim and would like an actual response and explanation on what was going on. Again never received a response back. So now in the middle of baseball season I'm without a way to watch the games since they decided to change the way they handle their subscriptions without sending a courtesy email to existing customers and they refuse to explain why.
I was happy the past couple of years, but 2022 is horrible. Picture freezes, restarts and stops. Just watched the same 10 seconds 5 times in a row, before the picture froze for good. Problem is across platforms, Amazon Fire, Ipad and Iphone.
I waited to the last day of my billing period to renew my monthly subscription. They cut me off with 3 hours to spare. They said that they were not taking new customers. I said I was an old customer who they cut off 3 hours too early. They said they would take me back only if I payed by the year. I don't have that type of money. I waited days for them to get back to me, so I left. That's not how a legit business should be run.
I've been a subscriber since February 2021. Feeds for all games are about 90 seconds behind live broadcasts. If I were to rate this on a scale of 1-10 (10 being best) I'd give it a 0 rating. I changed my subscription to weekling in April this year due to excessive buffering or unavailability ofchannel and/or game feeds. In early May I attempted to renew my weekly subscription and was denied. Their customer service rep informed me that they weren't accepting renewals. When I asked the reasoning they just responded that they weren't accepting renewals. When I asked him to elaborate they stuck to their guns and said they weren't renewing at this time.
Tried the one week trial at $6.99 worked great. Tried one month at $19.99 worked great. Now I'm on the annual plan at $120/yr and it's awesome! For $10/mo you get Golf Channel and every single NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB game and a ton of other content. My friends pay more for one month of cable than I do for one year of Uzzu. Two thumbs way up. Uzzu is NOT a scam and their customer service is fantastic.
Uzzu worked great with roku in 2021. But all the streaming streaming services have cut them off. Uzzu.tv acts like it's all good. They have been exposed as crooks. Prove me wrong. Their online support pretends it's all OK because they want to bill you monthly even though they are banned from MLB.
I'm one of the millions that has lost my regional sports network and needed to find an alternative that wasn't subject to blackouts. This completely fit the bill.
Pluses:
- No limit NHL, MLB, NBA, and NFL feeds
- Every regional network is available
- Simple setup on streaming devices with a M3U player
Minuses:
- Picture quality is totally dependent on your bandwidth
- Multiple streams permitted (I often watch two or three games at a time)
- You are a minute or two behind the action since the signal is going half way around the world to reach you
- Limited to 1080p, but 720 is more likely on most streams (no 4K)
I love it, have little bad to say, and would totally recommend it!
This is a great supplemental service to access all the sports you need including all the Regional Sports!
So I was in Vegas at the Raiders-Bengals game and was watching another game that was on while waiting in the food like. A guy from Calgary stopped me and said 'wow, that's a GREAT picture! What is that?' Welcome to Uzzu TV!
I've been subscribed to Uzzu for 9 great months. Paid just $120 for a full year of service. While I purchased for NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL games I found they offer about every sports channel know to man PLUS numerous other channels --- all for the $120 annual fee. And all in 1080P.
I watch sports live so I don't need DVR capabilities.
Be sure to check out the screenshots of all the channels you get!
I'm lovin' UZZU and know you will too! Please reference my email of joe. *******@twc.com if you would and I get a monthly discount. You will too once subscribed and you bring others aboard!
