I've worked for several essay writing websites before but none of them matched like Uvocorp. Their support team is friendly and considerate.
I want to share my experience during the registration process. This may not have happened to the other applicants but it did to me. I sent my application to work as a freelancer for the site. It took days for the recruitment agent to reach out to me, but that would be understandable given that they have a large amount of applicants that are also waiting to be screened. However, by the time I was ready to go through the registration process I was sent an e-mail containing the instructions and the link. Following through every detail, doing everything that I was told to do, I used the registration link to start my registration but it leads me to a site where I am being asked of my e-mail address. I entered the data needed, I was redirected to a log in site where I was told to enter the correct e-mail address because the one I provided was incorrect. I have repeated the process several times but the same error occurs. All the while I am in contact with the agent asking what I should do. When I was told to use different e-mail addresses I replied immediately, reporting that I have done so. I have waited for almost a week for a reply from the agent but I have received none, whatsoever. The registration link expires at 72 hours and she has more than two days to tell me tell me what to do but I have not received a reply, not even one telling me that there is nothing left to be done (this is what I have been told as I contacted their support team). What would have made it better was an email informing me that they send their regrets but I wouldn't be able to register because of the broken link - one that is not even my fault. But I received nothing. It's more sad to think that the agent did not even bother sending me a different registration address or tell me that I no longer qualify to be a freelancer for them.

I have been working for the company for almost two years. I work as a Mentor (or editor, if you want). And it seems that the company doesn't value its employees at all. They tell me to fine my mentees for lateness, but who takes this fine? In whose pocket does it go? No idea. They submit autocalls sometimes. It looks as if they do everything just to be done, to be ready as soon as possible. And it doesn; t matter whether a person can log into the site or not. The autocall submitted means their work is done. Moreover, I was told that it is a freelance position and I will have free timetable. And what did I get? I have minimum requirements, lots of additional administrative unnecessary tasks, working days and vacations! Do you know any other place where a FREELANCER has WORKING DAYS and VACATIONS (18 days per year)?!
As for writer position, I would never become their writer because of low wages, strict rules that contradict the pure notion of 'freelancer', existence of mentors who have to find mistakes in even perfect orders just to support the established hierarchy of the company.
As for bugs, there are really a lot of them. I don't believe that the company lacks money to fix them. They just do not want.
Further, the company lacks transparency. There are a lot of departments in the company, and most of them work only during working hours as per Ukrainian/Russian time. By the way, if you send a message to one department, they may answer that it is out of their area of expertise and ask you to send it to another one. And that 'another one' will never give you a respond.
I would not recommend this company by no means. Perhaps, only those who need stable (but not high) income can apply for Mentor's position, and that's all.

- They tell me to fine my mentees for lateness, but who takes this fine? In whose pocket does it go? --> According to our rules, all orders should be completed before the set deadlines. If the customer did not receive his/her paper on time, he/she is eligible for a refund, and the fines for lateness are used to compensate such refunds. Besides, we'd like to highlight that the practice of "asking mentors to fine their writers for lateness" is in the past, since now our system automatically imposes fines on the writers who fail to meet the set deadline.
- They submit autocalls sometimes. It looks as if they do everything just to be done, to be ready as soon as possible. And it doesn't matter whether a person can log into the site or not. The autocall submitted means their work is done. --> Due to the huge amount of work, our Support Team cannot make all the calls in every order, so the system submits auto(matic)calls in cases of orders assignment or revision requests. Our writers find this option quite helpful; yet if you have any specific objections or detailed complaints, please, let us know. Concerning "it doesn't matter whether a person can log into the site or not" and " As for bugs, there are really a lot of them. I don't believe that the company lacks money to fix them. They just do not want." in this regard, I'm sure you understand that there are no perfect man-made products in the world, and our site is not an exception; however, together with our writers and mentors, our programmers are working on its improvements. It's all about the continuous process of progress: adding new features, testing and perfecting them.

I have minimum requirements, lots of additional administrative unnecessary tasks. --> Our vacancy advertisement contained information on the basic requirements as well as the approximate number of hours a day an average mentor spends on the job. Freelance position presupposes that you can work whenever and wherever you want. We do not set obligatory working hours, and you don't stick to a certain workplace. As for additional administrative tasks, well, that's what our fixed payment of $200 per month is made for.
- Do you know any other place where a FREELANCER has WORKING DAYS and VACATIONS (18 days per year) ---> Yes, no other company offers vacations to its freelancers. Yet please, mind that we provide a paid18-day vacation. And our mentors think that it is a plus, not a minus of our company. However, if mentors need a longer vacation, they can take as many days off as they want ( but the period exceeding 18 days will not be covered with our fixed payment).
- As for writer position, I would never become their writer because of low wages, strict rules that contradict the pure notion of 'freelancer', the existence of mentors who have to find mistakes in even perfect orders just to support the established hierarchy of the company. - We don't force anyone to become our writer; we are simply open for new applicants, who can see our requirements and offers (including possible wages) on our website. Concerning the Mentoring Project, it was launched with the aim to deliver high-quality products to our customers and help our writers upgrade their skills, reach a higher academic level that would allow them to take more high-paid orders after the graduation from the program, and have a regular workload irrespective of their rating.

And that 'another one' will never give you a respond. --> The representatives of all our departments reply to the writers and client's messages within 24-hr deadline (the only exception is weekends and holidays season). It is a strict rule in our company. And our Support Team works 24/7 and handles all the urgent concerns. If you have a specific example of the rule being broken by a team member, we will appreciate it if you provide us with such. As for requests to forward a message to another department, indeed, there's no department that would be responsible for everything done in the company; it's called the division of responsibilities (used in any company), which ensures a proper way of dealing with daily and important issues.
