These mods will dictate what you post, one mod in particular constantly harasses me and if this loser keeps it up on other people I hope this site finds itself in a law suite because sooner or later they will mess with the wrong one. The site claims free speech but that only applies to those they favor.

If your post does not fit the leftist mindset you will get your post locked, deleted, or moved to conspiracy or their favorite the rubber room.

There are a few users who go around tauting people constantly and they are allowed to get away with it. They are so bad most people have these scum blocked.

The malware I would agree 100% is true, after this mod who constantly harassed me did so yesterday. He sent me a message that had a little bit of threat behind it after the message my ability to get onto the site is almost impossible. I am not banned but it is so laggy it's not worth waiting for.

I hope someone brings a lawsuit on them for over stepping their boundaries messing with a person's ability to connect to the site. And the mod is an IT tech so that should tell you their ability to do something like that.

Mods/Trolls here can't stop bad reports on a web site that suck or maybe that should be a website where the MODS suck.

You idiots are drawing down people traffic by allowing this morons.

I do have a nice collection of screen shots to prove how many times this scum bag send me messages threatening me with getting banned base off pure bs.

A class action wouldn't result in money but might possibly teach pathetic sites like this not to play with people as you don't always have the power you think you do just because your leftist filled to the gills.

They encourage site liberals to call you known pedophile in your threads. These claims can extend to your Facebook if you use it to join. Just imagine the damage you would do to your family and friends in that alone! They have three adult forums there with NO cloaking and often let pre teens visit and chat with some of the lowest cyber scum out there. Rules mean nothing and if a mod does not like you the rules are over looked.

And mods are known to SELL account/personal info for as little as 25 dollars! Then the harassment starts In your emails and in some cases your Facebook.The Facebook attacks range from attacks on your parents to your grandmother. I just wish I could I find the proper words to fully explain how. Dangerous and bad an idea joining that site would be. If you look up the name of domestic terrorist Rusty Houser and USMB you will find they had a long standing relationship.

Their "cookies" are tracking malware. Which tells them any other place you may have been on the net and they MAY make that info public as well if it suits them. I write this review after being a member there for 3 years. USMB is home to both domestic terrorists and islamics as both groups rule the site

Here is what the ban was based on.

I can easily do the six months, but that usmb may still be open then for business is questionable.

Data mining. Personal information used by two staff members to harass, discredit and expose to possibility identity theft and unauthorized use of financial information as I paid for membership(s).

Complained to owners, they have done nothing, used attorney complaint to Attorney General, Federal Trade Commission ongoing investigation.

Terrible place.

Once the owners take responsibility and properly train and supervise their staff I may change my review.

I've been a member of many political forums so I can actually review it in comparison to others. I've seen other sites ban people (myself included) for defending themselves against attacks. At USMB, if you're attacked, fight back. It's for adults, you're expected to be an adult. The site allows you to say what you want. My only issue is that there are members who just post in the "current events" section anything they want, even something that's just an opinion without substance (think "Donald Trump is racist!) without anything of substance to back it up, and dumps it in the current events section because it's the most active section. It makes for a forum that's cluttered with a lot of junk threads, but its still good. I've been banned from numerous forums for speaking my mind, I've been on USMB for years and never even been warned. It's not perfect, but it's for adults and it's good. For the liberals complaining they get banned, I've never personally seen a liberal even get banned even when they personally attack conservatives with every post. So you must have REALLY done something wrong to get banned there. Join up and start posting, it's an active forum with good members. A few bad apples and a few idiots, but every forum has those. I've never had a run in with moderators and I've gone on the attack sometimes when people have made jabs at me.

If you see a bunch of negative reviews for a message board and 1/2 the reviews are whining about the board and their admin being "right wing" and the OTHER 1/2 are whining about the board and their admin being "left wing" ------------------ That ought to suggest that USMB is doing free speech and moderation and administration correctly.

And that's the way it is. There are different forums with different levels of moderation. There are forums with virtually no moderation that are "member only". Your content there is never subject to political bias. You just have to contribute to the discussions.

And THAT is probably what all this surprising amount of whining is all about. Don't join if you just want to shout slogans and shut down topics. OR -- if you can't carry on a conversion with "normal" people because you have the focus of a squirrel.

I've been on many sites, most are so heavily restricted they ban you for standing up for yourself. Here you get 99% of the First Amendment at all times, minor rules like no family, no spam, no threats to members.

Best site ever, been there for years and will never leave, all these 1 stars are from lightweights that can't stand to hear an opinion not theirs.

I have been a member for a while and have had to take sabbaticals from USMB a couple of times. But the place is moderated fairly well and there is far more diversity of views on it than any place else I have seen. It is interesting and actually a place you can learn to respect new perspectives on old issues.

Most of these reviews are either 1 star or 5 star, so you are not seeing a solid range of reflective thought in this review. But your mileage may vary.

Unless you are in love with Hitler Youths and Ayn Rand kids, or you enjoy the worst moderation on the Internet, and rantings against at all things liberal or just plain common sense, don't bother with USMB.

You won't find debate there, the failed actor who is the Admin has no idea what that is and forget about being honest, they call that "trolling" because it upsets their little Brownshirts for Jesus and the KKK. It is a place run by morons for morons, much of the content is nothing more than pro-gun, reactionary politics, anti-homosexual and government paranoia, overt racism, and Islamophobia.

The worst of the worst post there and no one in power there seems to know it because, they are just as bad most of the time including fighting openly and even trolling members they don't like themselves. Pathetic, absolutely pathetic. See some of the posts I've uploaded if you don't believe me. One look and you'll know I'm right.

If you like your politics served up deep-fried, evangelical and racist, you'll love USMB. Don't even try if you're a centrist either, the yellow-bellied rednecks will still come out and call you names you've never even heard (unless your birth certificate says "City: some holler" and "Father's name: Bubba").

The board moderates are chosen by level of bias. The more extreme, the better. Liberals are in the minority, probably constitute about 5% of the postings. The other 95% are sock-puppets for Fox Noise, Alex Jones and whatever drips down the chin of Rush Limbaugh after he's swallowed enough Oxycodone to kill an ox.

Make sure you go see for yourself, don't count on finding these neanderthals anywhere else. They like their cozy echo chamber and meme/cartoon postings of Hillary. They are obsessed with her. So if you really want to draw cyber-fire, join and post a thread in praise of the Clintons or Sanders or Obama. Then prepare to stand back from your computer and keyboard... at least 4 feet away. The blowback will be severe, damage to your hard drive could result. You have been warned.

Yes, you've read IT correctly, for the sane. I've been an active member off and on for quite a few years. Been banned before by moderators no longer there and by a few still there. It's a very fun place if you do not take yourself, the web, or the world too seriously. The staff is top notch. Free speech reigns and THAT disturbs some folks.

There have been changes in staff through the years, but as far as I can see it is for the better as things that do not change get stale and die a slow death. USMB was dying a while ago and new administration came in a while back and this event shook the place to it's very foundations. Some people cannot tolerate change. Some people have an unhealthy sense of ownership and entitlement. Then there are those who go off to other sites or start up new sites who lash out at USMB and blame the site for the state of their unhappiness with life.

I'd give USMB 7 stars if I could

In all my years on forums USMB has to be the bottom of the barrel. There is a posse of clowns (they literally use clown avatars) who resort to stalking, sending vile PMs, gang up and report people to mods who are in unison with them and the end result is a nightmare.

The mods engage in threads and if you dare disagree with them just wait, a warning will soon follow for some minor infraction. Or if you engage someone with a mod as a friend they will cry to the mod and boom! Again some minor infraction warning. The mods are the most childish of the bunch.

There is also a member who is constantly starting threads about children, vulgar sexual threads about adolescents and the admin and mods allow it. It's sickening

If you enjoy childish antics, Fascist moderation and a clueless admin then USMB is the place for you. If you are looking for intellectual debate I suggest you find another forum. USMB is horrible, simply horrible
