TutorABC Chinese

I studied Mandarin full time a few years ago, but got out of practice when I stopped studying. I signed up to TutorMing to try and encourage myself to keep in practice. I've found it a very effective way to do so. Since I started with TutorMing (around 10 lessons ago), I've found I'm getting back some of the old familiarity and learning quiet a bit of new vocabulary. I definitely plan to keep using it.

It's super flexible (you can book classes 12 hours in advance and cancel up to 4 hours before if you need to), so if I have a quiet morning, I find myself booking classes for the coming evening. My initial placing level was a bit tough for me, but I asked customer service and they made it a bit easier. Very flexible indeed.

Tutorming has really impressive online portal both at desktop and mobile site. I can review my material any time. Learning is so much fun. It gives me opportunity to interactive with so many teachers. I have been in living in Taiwan for 4 year and I always wanted to study mandarin for a while but never got enough motivation. After joining tutorMing it does boosted the confidence to learn plus it gave me flexibility to schedule class according to my preference. Since I am regular employee flexibility with timing is a great advantage for me. Course material is modified accordingly. All the teacher are really nice, friendly and helping me improve my Mandarin proficiency. I keep up my perseverance to master this language with tutorMing. Initialy I was skeptical about joining. I would surely recommend those who wants to learn mandarin and can't afford to jumble work with classes.

I had recently booked a two hour class, I spent almost 1 hour and 40 minutes on the phone to technical services who took control of my computer WITHOUT permission while I was away.

They apologized but I still feel it was a breach of my privacy.
Out of the classes I had, I would say only 3 were successful.

All others were failures.

I had nothing but sound problems, Java application issues and relentless pop ups interfering with the class.

I have wanted to learn Chinese for a while but due to a combination of work, travel and other commitments I simply did not have the time. I was also hesitant starting to learn a new language from the very beginning.
I find TutorMing a good way to address these problems. You can schedule classes at times to suit you (and the time difference helps also!). They are easy to manage and cancel if required. The website is fully interactive and you can check your lesson plan before and review after - along with your homework and feedback.
The tutors are fun, patient and interactive and take their time explanation things especially to beginners like me.

Since I graduated my East-Asian and Mandarin studies at 2010 I've searched a way to maintain my Mandarin. I tried almost everything; private tutors who were very expensive, books which focused on several issues on doesn't practice pronunciation, and getting together with other friends what was a total waste of time.
Since I discovered TutorMing I've succeed to expand my vocabulary, improve my tones, and practice my grammar. The lessons are taking place whenever I want, how often I choose and from my lap-top which is real convenient and able you to monitor the class after it was ended.
TurorMing's tutors are very professionals, patient and can easily adapt themselves to your level.
Oh!, and I haven't sad a thing about the price which you can't compare to private tutor or even other programs with more students in the class.
I recommend TutorMing for people like me who want to maintain and improve their Mandarin skills and even for beginners with no previous knowledge.

I would recommend TutorMing to anyone who wants to learn Chinese from a very basic level all the way to perfecting it on more advanced levels. I could not pronounce one word in Chinese before I began at TutorMing, however I am now much more confident in speaking and understanding. It is most certainly a process however the teachers at TutorMing are very patient and excellent.

Learning with TutorMing has been great! At the beginning I was a little iffy about it cause I had never heard of them, and they claim they're super big, but once i started it, it's been quite good. My wife who is Taiwanese has seen a few of my classes and has realized the teaching quality is quite nice and she's seen my improvement. I schedule my classes whenever I want, both in the morning and/or night. They also have a really nice app that allows me to take the class from the iphone as well, which makes it super convenient to take the class and to review everything on the go. Definitely recommend it for anyone interested in learning Chinese and has a busy schedule!

I felt a little nervous at the start to learn Chinese because it looked almost impossible to me. After my 4th session, I started to really enjoy it and by this time I could introduce myself and use numbers in Chinese. I still find Chinese extremely hard but the Chinese consultants are very helpful with their wonderful ways of teaching. It is a great experience and you will learn this language if you are dedicated to doing so using this method. My advice is to keep it going and keep practising as hard as you can and spend 10 minutes after the session to recap what you have learned. A super way to learn a language in a real-time online classroom. Enjoy!

I have been using TutorMing for roughly 2 years on and off, in conjunction with my past 7 years of Mandarin studies, including in my university, I feel that TutorMing is the most effective platform out there to help improve all aspects of your chinese learning. Pronunciation, grammar, spoken conversation, and reading are all covered via one platform. The teachers are patient, come from various provincial areas from within Taiwan and the Mainland and thus expose you to a variety of local Mandarin vocabularies, I would recommend this system to anyone serious about improving their Chinese.
