I needed information on a relative. The information given was readily available from free sources. I checked another name to see if this was the norm. The information on this other person was critically outdated and inaccurate. I emailed them shortly after my purchase and voiced my displeasure, asking for a price reduction-they didn't give me the courtesy of a reply. Avoid this company and keep your $ for a more worthy investment.
Even if you are happy with the data they provide (I didn't get to see it) they get you to sign up for X amount and then before you can actually see the data, they want you to pay another $3. Xx to download it. It's fraud.

Truthfinder should start by being truthful in what they actually offer once you have paid your subscription and joined the membership. Truthfinder promises you to find a whole bunch of necessary information until you get caught in their lies. Once you have joined the membership, they offer you quarter of what they have mentioned while you are filling out the form… Don't get fooled by joining truth finder because you will get totally disappointing by the limited amount of information they offer you.
When I called to cancel 10 minutes later, the person on the phone seemed to be making a joke and a mockery of what I was trying to say and was laughing more than he could talk like as though he already knew what this whole game of becoming a Truthfinder member was about. I had to make a second call to reconfirm that I didn't make a call to the wrong number due to the unprofessional agent that spoke to me the first time.

Scam website. It shows everything a person already knows. It tries to hook you in by saying we found xyz, then when you are actually on a persons profile theres nothing new. Other than name, address, and siblings. Not even accurate results.

I seriously don't mind paying but it is impossible to cancel once u pay once it charges every month saying u can cancel if u call between these hrs in tiny $#*! print. U cant cuz the line is dead so good luck canceling yet the charges come every month. As if they don't have any intention on ever letting u cancel.

Never once do they say there is a cost for their "report" until after they have kept you online over 5 minutes telling you they are compiling a report... lots of suggestions that they might be including embarrasing info, etc. Once they get your email address, and after a few more "disclosures"... they spring a price. If they were a legit company, this price would have been disclosed at the first... before they supposedly do various searches. Couldn't recommend this company at all, as since they aren't truthful, I would not necessarily believe any of the information they supposedly found.

A great love of mine, the worst & best woman I've known. For a few years all I can find is that she's not dead (slightly surprising... turned out she was a mad junkie not to mention a few other things). OK- I figured let me see if she's still in the state, maybe I'll drop her a line etc. The "report" comes back with 1) her FATHER'S email; 2) one likely very old phone number; and best of all, 3) with the disclaimer "this MAY be arrests/records of your search subject" - MAY BE - an arrest, just one, from 2016. You can look her up online and find 3 arrests, 2011, 2016, and 2018. I was with her in court when they clapped the irons on her and rolled her out to a women's holding prison before transporting her after a couple weeks to a serious 4+ month sentence at Chicopee where I visited her a number of times. And I paid THEM money?! Steer clear.

Try to get this service, I have 4 cc and of the 4 I tried 3 that were my personal all my PO Box as address. The 4 card was my son account that I was on also. I then called and spend 35 minutes to find out why none of my cards was working he checked found they don't use CC with PO Box address, making my cards not usable. Then the guy I was talking to from this company had me try my other card that had my home address and that one did not work, he said because my bank stopped it and I need to call my bank. We needed this report for my son right way or I would never had taken this much time to try and get my cards to work. I then called my daughter inlaw my son's wife and she let me use her card and it worked but they locked me out saying fraud. I mean why would I spend so much time on the phone with there company if I was trying to fraud? I will never use this company again.

This place is nothing but a scam. Set up to bill u monthly for a background check many others could provide for anyone time fee and a lesser cost. They also use terminology used to confuse less adept users into thinking the person they are looking up is a a horrid person to make them want to pay for the report before actually getting any valid information

Am writing a term paper on data brokers so did a search on myself. No criminal record, no graphic stuff in my background -- but you'd never know it from the enticing "warnings" and "alerts" that popped up while the search is executing. The alerts explicity say that "graphic content", "embarrassing" or "surprising insider information" may be in the report. Although the age and residential info was accurate, the "alert" messages are just scammy marketing laid on thick. Buyer beware!

If you are simply looking for an address, don't waste your time. Their incredibly stupid dramatic search for information takes forever in order to keep you interested and engaged. However, I've been through this so many times, that as soon as it started, I closed it. It used to be that you could simply look up an address - no fuss, no muss. But now, since every fu**ing thing in the world is monetized, you can't get the information unless you pay. Greedy A**holes. Don't waste your time.

I cancelled service after a few days. Received an email showing service would be cancelled at end of month. They continued charging my PayPal account resulting in $30 overdraft fee. When I contacted them they sent email saying service would be cancelled following month. Customer service is horrible.

They make you wait endlessly while supposedly working on a reverse lookup. Screen after screen; bogus disclosures; requiring my name and email; more screens and more disclosures (some salacious.) And then they want money

Some of the offers didn't work or were spam type of offers. But the majority worked fine. The wait time on your cash out is kind of annoying.

They advertise they can find someone's date of birth and social security number. I need this information on an individual my daughter is dating, who claims to be a Marine, Iraq war combat veteran. I am a retired Marine, and I don't believe he was ever in the Marine Corps. So, you pay them and guess what! No social security number, and only the month and year of birth, not the day. A scam!

Nothing new except totally incorrect information.
All the information they had can easily be found with a simple google search.
They said my name was on some government watch list.
Yet they have no proof.
