Have contacted Trusted Housesitters since last year when I paid $ 154.00 Au and totally ignored about no suitable housesits at all. Many emails and chats, if they could extend this period but no response since more than one year ago when I paid.
Faceless vehicle, the site is only as good as the house sitters and home owners.
I joined TrustedHouseSitters six years ago. I love to travel. My family have long since flown the nest and I am free to do my own thing. I dont have pets of my own so TrustedHouseSitters has allowed me to take care of other peoples pets while living my dream of travelling and living like the locals. Thank you to TrustedHouseSitters.
Trusted Housesitters has changed my life. I love to travel and I adore cats so this gives me the best of both worlds. I am able to stay in comfortable homes and look after adorable pets whilst exploring the area I am staying in rent free, living like a local. The organisation is professional and trustworthy and both hosts and pet sitters are able to be reviewed after each petsit enabling honest, reliable vetting of both parties. Thoroughly recommend.
I love using Trusted Housesitters. I have been a member for over 4 years. They have a great vetting system and you can see what other's have thought. I have found wonderful people to watch my pets from all over the world. It is important that you try and video meet the sitters and get your own feeling for them. Not all who apply are the perfect fit. I have also found it important to have people at home that are emergency contacts that will go over to your home if needed.
Any concerns have been immediately answered- their customer service is great. This is such a great idea.
I accepted a pet sitter from trusted houses to stay with my animal for nine days. This Pet Sitter had a background check and seem to have a positive profile. I sat down with the Pet Sitter, and gave her instructions on taking care of my Pat, and let her know not to open any windows or doors, because of a problem we had with our gnats. When I returned home from my vacation about a week later, I noticed my house was infested with knats. I asked the Pet Sitter if she had open the doors or windows, and she said she did not. However, my ADT security system keeps record of when doors and windows are open. I checked to find out that the Pet Sitter left one of my windows opened when the screen had a hole in it and she lied.I asked the Pet Sitter if she had open the doors or windows, and she said she did not. TrustedHouseSitters is a fabulous way to connect people who need house and animal sitters with people who want to travel and love animals. It's easy to set up a profile, and site management helps with all the organisational processes. I love it!

What an amazing time sitting for Kerryn and Nathan. Their dog Samba was a joy. He has quite the playful personality and is very serious when it comes to his chew toys. I just completed my first sit. Everything went smoothly and it was a success. The website is very easy to use, and provides information organized in an intuitive way. It was easy to learn what I needed to do a good job. I hope to do more sits, and will continue to use TrustedHouseSitters to do it.
TrustedHousesitters has done everything right from day one. We've very much appreciated each and every sitter we've worked with through the site, and we've never thought twice to suggest the site to our friends.
We have used TrustedHouseSitters 4 times in the last year and have been very happy with all of our sitters. We have been gone as long as 25 days and as short as 5 days and have had great experiences each time. I have recommended TrustedHouseSitters to several friends and relatives and will post again the next time we need someone.
I did not know it was automatically renewed and charged until I got a bill I contacted them within 2 days of knowing and asked to cancel but they could not refund because I was pass the 20 days(?) I am extremely overwhelmed this year and didn't even realize I was probably charged last year. I have not needed them for over 2 years. I don't expect a refund for the last year only the one I found out about 2 days ago. This is unacceptable to me very BAD Service. I will not refer this company to anyone anymore... I gave it a 2* because the gal we used over 3 years ago was GREAT. ALTHOUGH we did have to go through 3 to get her!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review for us. We never want to hear that anyone is unhappy with our auto-renewal payments.
When you initially joined we let you know that it is a yearly subscription service, however, you are free to opt out of the subscription at any time via your dashboard settings menu. We are always on hand via Live Chat, Telephone or email should you need help to cancel your subscription at any time.
We also send you email reminders 30,14 and 7 days before the auto-renewal payment is taken - letting you know the auto-renewal date and that you can cancel your subscription via your dashboard if you would like to.
Once the auto-renewal payment is taken you also have 14 days to request a refund in writing and as long as you have not used the service in that time - then we are more than happy to process you a refund. Unfortunately, as with any business we have to have a cut off date to make it fair to all members. All of the above can be found in our Terms and Conditions and we are always happy to talk you through our subscription process if you would like us to.
I am really pleased to hear that you had success when using the service previously and I am more than happy to discuss the best ways to get the most out of your current membership. Also, I am on hand to help should you wish to cancel your subscription.

We had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful stay on the east coast of Normandy at St Vaast la Hougue on a beautiful small farm. Our hosts, Lorraine and Stephen, were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect... lots of local markets, interesting sites, walks, the beaches... ideal. Both Hector and Gaston were great, entertaining pets and the sheep and lambs a real treat to keep an eye on. This was a stay we will remember fondly for the experience and the friendships formed. Exceptional.
I enjoy the opportunity to meet wonderful families and their furry loved ones.
Each sit is a different experience. I get to visit new cafés, restaurants, and experience various places that I have never visited before.
We have just started using this site as a way to look after pets since we are not allowed to have them in our condo. So far it has been a good experience and the daily updates as to what is available seem to honestly portray the owners, pets and homes. There is enough information and it is helpful to have pictures and clearly outlined responsibilities. The site offers a wonderful service.
I have been a sitter for nigh on 3 years and mostly my sits have been great. Reading the comments on the side I think it needs to be understood that trusted it just a conduit between the owners and the sitters.

The house owners/cat owners were exceptional people to work with... their first time on turstedhousesitters.com and they did a perfect job. Very welcoming people and interesting too!
The house was lovely, the cats were happy to continue their routines with a new person in charge, and the Ada area of Michigan is one of my favorites.

TrustedHousesitters is a really great site and is mutually benificial for home and pet owners and people who want to explore and enjoy new places around the world. Their website is easy to use and their customer service is accessible and very helpful. Thier app is pretty good but needs a little bit of refining but overall an excellent service!
I have used trusted housesitters website many times in the past 2 years and have been very pleased each time. I have been able to locate 3 wonderful house/pet sitters and gave each 5 star ratings due to their excellent performances. I am able to easily navigate the site and have had no difficulty updating my information as well as communicating with potential sitters. I plan to continue using this program once Covid-19 has dissipated.
