I've had seven or eight sitters take care of my home and three cats, and I've always been impressed with the sitters and the process. It's also great to host people from around the world and share my city with them before I leave.
I have secured 3 different house sit via Trusted House Sitters and all experience as have been wonderful and unique. I have thoroughly enjoyed the pets, the outstanding houses, the people I have met and the places that the sits have taken me. It has been an ideal way for me to travel, make new friends and gives the owners their much anticipated holidays. The site is not too difficult to manage.
All in all I would definitely recommend Trusted House Sitters - which I have already done!
I have been a member of Trusted House Sitters for over six years now and I can thoroughly recommend it. I always travel to England as I have a lot of friends and relatives there but I could go anywhere in the world. I meet lots of new and interesting people and of course their lovely pets.
I have used Trusted Housesitters twice now, with happy experiences both times. The sitters who came to stay with my little pals have been trustworthy and reliable. This service allows me to travel with confidence that Bentley and Chloe are well cared for during my absence. I have recommended Trusted Housesitters to several friends, and they also have had very good experiences.
As two retired people on a modest pension, this business unables us to travel and to stay free of charge in some very nice homes, looking after family pets and allowing us to discover places and locations where we would never previously have thought of going. We recently discovered the delightful Portsunlight on the Wirral ( England) and into the bargain, have met some very friendly people as well as their delightful pets. I can only see this as a win-win situation. TrustedHouseSitters is an excellent idea that has enriched our lives...
We have had only great experiences with Trusted Housesitters! Every time we go out of town we have someone come stay and watch our animals. They have all been fantastic! We've been members for two years now.
Trusted House Sitters has given us the opportunity to have some great holidays, a lot cheaper than normal, meeting lovely people & fabulous pets. We have learnt to care for pigs & horses, as well dogs & cats, experiences we wouldn't have had otherwise. Trusted House Sitters has given us the opportunity to go on an adventure.

I do wish that their site had more robust search tools such as the ability to search by timeframe of availability. If it has that capability I haven't discovered it yet.
I've been a member of TrustedHousesitters.com for about a year, and recently used them to find the perfect house sitter for my townhouse and 2 cats while I was away for the Christmas Holiday. They vet all the housesitters, and I was able to see reviews from others that used my particular housesitter previously. I was able to go on my trip without anxiety knowing my home/cats were being taken care of.
Just amazing. Wonderful, friendly and helpful people. Annabelle gave us plenty of advice on the area and places to go. We adored all the pets and they kept us very amused! The house and location are perfect too, we are huge fans of Newton Abbot and the house is within close walking distance of pretty anywhere you want to go. Wedefinitely hope to be invites back.
Such a convenient service to have to have someone look over your pets or to travel & stay places for free just by looking over their pets. I was referred to this service by someone that had used it several times for their cats. I was equally impressed on how easy it was & felt so much better about having someone their to look over my cats versus having someone pop in & feed them once a day. Looking forward to doing some traveling & pet sitting in the future.
TrustedHouseSitters is the total package! I am so happy I found this site a few months ago! We went on vacation and had a house/dog sitter come to our house and we couldn't be more happy with the outcome! We feel we not only had fantastic sitters but also made some great friends with Melinda and Nick! TrustedHouseSitters will always be our only choice for our home and pup sitters!
Our review of Trusted Housesitters is one of an enjoyable experience and one we hope to continue with into the future. The joining process was easy and the access to the wide range of sitting opportunities are incredibly varied and interesting. We've completed our first assignment and couldn't have wished for such great owners and disciplined dogs in idyllic surroundings. After reading experiences on Recent reviews of TH, we've now been alerted to the renewal membership issue and have made a note to check this won't be a problem for us in the future.
Website took £89 Payment for year subscription. Not 1month. Won't refund and refuse after 3 emails requesting refund and cancellation. Customer service avoid and say your outside the 14day refund policy. Which they don't refund if you use the site. Can't be legal in uk or eu.
I have had two great pet sitting experiences. They were on opposite coasts. I loved the pets and the owners were wonderful. People on this site really want the best for their animals. I hope to use this site to travel out of the US in the future. Great experiences so far.
The site works with no hitches... smooth and provides all a house sitter needs to find a sit and to coordinate with the owners afterwards. Been on it for six years... 11 sits... and site has fine tuned things to make it easier each year. Worth the fee to be on it.
I have done a few house/pet sits through Trusted HouseSitters. The postings from home/pet owners are accurate and their pets and homes have been wonderful. Taking care of a pet (or pets) in another city is a great way to get to know the area. While taking care of other peoples' pets does take a bit of time, there is still plenty of time to explore the area, and visit with friends and family -- whatever the purpose of your trip.
The website for Trusted HouseSitters could be more efficient. When navigating through to look at available housesits, I find that I sometimes have to start my search over in order to get back to where I left off moments earlier.
We have used Trusted Housesitters several times now and could not be happier. The sitters we have found thru them have been awesome and every time we left we were comforted knowing our dogs and home were being well cared for. We have also become sitters and used that option one time with wonderful results. We sat for the sweetest dog in a great home and neighborhood. Will definitely highly recommend this site!

Data Mining site, don't be fooled. They demand your ID, to work for free. Sound familiar? If your down with third parties having your personal information so you can work for free. The ID is between me and my client, not the NWO. I had to cancel a CC thanks to them. I'd sue if I could,

I am sorry to hear of your dissatisfaction, however I can assure you the Terms & Conditions of our membership, is in line with all relevant business laws.
In accordance with our terms and conditions, that you agreed to at the time of joining up, we have a 14 day refund period, however we do not refund if the member has already been utilising their account. This includes talking to / applying for potential home owners to organise housesits, or posting live dates advertising for a sitter. We have this policy for good reason in order to prevent misuse of the site and the service that members have benefitted from in that time.
